Didn’t see a thread started on this and the first two episodes aired this evening.

Very politically charged but funny !

I really enjoyed the humour.. just wondering how others felt who watched it.

I think you’ll really enjoy it TST ... it has the old Rosanne type of one liners , and it covers both political sides well.

I loved it. This is a much needed show, for me. I am sure others have no room for celebrities and politics, but Roseanne is doing something to bridge vast divides.

I think there is a lot of promise in this reboot. Roseanne is pretty much the only one I can think of who can tackle all these family dynamics in an honest, humorous, and uplifting way.

I am looking forward to seeing the reboot develop...but It's definitely on my watch list.

For anyone who didn't watch...Roseanne portrays the unique Trump supporter that she is IRL, and all the other characters are incredibly endearing in all their diversity. She's bitten off a lot but I think she has this!

I hope the GOP has a very big tent for Roseanne.

That really sounds like a fat joke

LOL. Oops!

Unintentional...

Plus, she really isn't fat anymore. And 'old Becky' hid all the fat photos in episode 2.

I watched it tonight with the wife.

I don't watch many sitcoms, but I always enjoyed this show. There was lots of humor and it was political, but balanced and funny. I could have done without the gender confused kid, but overall it was a refreshing show and did things no one else is doing. I was pleasantly surprised.

AH... but he wasn't confused though/ He said right away that he is a boy when Roseanne asked him.

I was so pleasantly surprised, too. I think it's going to take a bit of thinking to really make the most of the show. So balanced though...in a really, really great way.

Apparently he is not gender confused , just prefers the pizzazz of girls clothing.

I also was pleasantly surprised and am definitely tuning in for more episides, which is saying a lot considering I rarely watch television these days .

The show was great. Classic Roseanne. I wish i could binge watch all the new episodes. She represented both sides with such humor and common sense.

I'm looking forward to watching it.
The original series was truly groundbreaking.
Groundbreaking As in portraying the real typical American family, who's broke, faces real family problems and issues that probably every single one of us who grew up with that show can relate to in one way or another.
It made me feel like, alright my family isn't the only whacked out one in the world lol.

It definitely was well written for both sides of the political spectrum along with the good ol’ Conner one liners.

I liked it, and never really a fan of Roseanne Barr, but she did good with this. Maybe it will break the strangling leftism-only angle of most television shows these days.

Hey, and ol' Dan even slipped a pro-masculinity quip in at one point!

You’ll love it... the Conners are still as dysfunctional as they always have been in that endearing way .. yet still remain true to the average struggling American family. There is some tear jerker moments in it as well . Some really touching scenes.

What I don't understand is how is Dan alive?
Did she just write that in her book?
Or did they ignore that episode?
