I was so sure when I opened your thread op, I was going to read that he is under investigation for the fake car in space. He really pushed that lie.
He even so far as to say, "It looks so fake, it has to be real," when first confronted how fake the whole event looked.

Saw this on Marketwatch literally 2 minutes ago: Tesla is just Months from a Total Collapse, Says Hedge-Fund Manager

“This is one of the worst income statements I’ve ever seen and between the story and the financials, the financials will win out in this case.”

Same guy who Zero Hedge quoted.

I'm starting to suspect that Tesla's failure to mass-produce the Model 3 is deliberate. Nobody has managed to make any money selling electric cars. General Motors doesn't make a profit off the Volt or the Bolt; Nissan doesn't make a profit off the Leaf, Mitsubishi couldn't make any money off that sad little golf-cart thing they used to sell (the i-Miev). I suspect, rather strongly, that if Tesla actually does start to mass-produce the Model 3, it will drive them right into bankruptcy, because unlike larger automakers they don't have any profitable segment to offset the losses.

I'm also a little skeptical that Tesla's semi will ever see production, and that this is anything more than a final cash grab before the company goes broke.

What can be more well rounded than a four door sedan? An SUV is about as well rounded as you can get spanking a lambo that requires you to be a yoga master to get in the car.

yea true.

Blistering acceleration is the performance that is most useful on the public road. I ride motorcycles and it is the one thing that keeps me safe is being able to out run most cars. It isn't about speeding, but being able to pass quickly. For example, being able to accelerate hard from 40-75 to pass an 18 wheeler quicker is safer.

dont know about that, blistering acceleration isnt exactly a safety feature.
passing an 18 wheeler quicker doesnt make it safer, judgement does.

Dang, Tesla just can't catch a break right now. They had a fatal crash in California over the weekend (a Model X hit a freeway divider and caught fire, killing the driver), and now there's this: Tesla credit rating cut by Moody's on production issues, liquidity concerns

Tesla Inc.’s credit rating was downgraded by Moody’s Investors Service on Tuesday as the electric car company burns through cash, fails to meet production expectations and may soon have to raise more than $2 billion.

Moody’s cut Tesla’s overall rating to B3, or six levels below investment grade, from B2 and said its outlook on the company is negative. Tesla’s $1.8 billion of senior unsecured notes, issued in August, were downgraded to Caa1, seven steps into junk, from B3.

“Tesla’s ratings reflect the significant shortfall in the production rate of the company’s Model 3 electric vehicle,” Moody’s analyst Bruce Clark said in the report. “The company also faces liquidity pressures due to its large negative free cash flow and the pending maturities.”

I didn't know Tesla's credit rating was actually in junk territory.

Victim Of Fatal Model X Crash Complained About Tesla Autopilot

Walter Huang's family tells Dan Noyes he took his Tesla to the dealer, complaining that -- on multiple occasions -- the auto-pilot veered toward that same barrier -- the one his Model X hit on Friday when he died.

I think I'm going to keep control of my car, thank you very much.

A bailout !
they have shown them self's to be Unable to run Tesla.
so they should NOT get more money to burn.
they should be taken over by the government
then sold off.

I am going to las vegas.
if I lose all my money will the Government give me more?
