darkestpatterns.com...

Had to pause releasing new episodes for a while for a list of reasons (medical, financial, technical).

I liked The Terminator, it was a really presentient take on the upcoming robot apocalypse.

One thing I learned was to preorder my 40Watt phased plasma rifle.

I could recommend some crappy ones, though that's probably not very helpful to anyone.

Just finished "Wild Wild Country" on Netflix about the Indian guru that came and tried to take over Oregon in the 80's. I had never heard of it, and it was amazing. They took over a town and tried to kill the attorney general and had this crazy armed commune and... needless to say, it is worth watching.

The last one I watched was 'Sick.'
The title says it all.
A self-professed 'super-masochist' /performance artist dies of lung disease.
His relationship with his sadisticly inclined wife is oddly touching.
Fun for the whole family.

Richard Proenneke, Alone in the wilderness. Very cool documentary about him going up into the Denali area of Alaska, and building a cabin, and living off of the land. This was back in the 50s or 60s I am guessing. Very cool, and pretty interesting.

Brilliant but heartbreaking documentary. It’s one of the best I’ve seen.

The World At War.

Possible the best documentary ever made on WW II. Narrated by Laurence Olivier.

All 26 1 Hour episodes are on You Tube.

A Couple of samples.

Episode 1

Episode 3

Netflix has 2 series I’ve been loving lately - Dirty Money is one, and Oliver Stone’s Untold History of the United States

Let me know if you check either of them out. Hope you find something good

Going Clear is pretty good. You can watch in on youtube for free if you don't mind the framing.
It's a decent look at the twisted world of Scientology.

i just cant handle watching them anymore. it bothers me too much.

even things that i could watch even a few year ago bother me so much i cant even try to watch it.

i dont know what happened but i changed

i tried to watch a documentary on the 5 points a couple months back and only got like 15 minutes in and i had to turn it off. i just couldnt take it.
