I don't actually think there's any similarity between 'then and now'. People were tougher back then and didn't get safe spaces. The Brits didn't have any, The Germans certainly didn't either.

Again,"snowflakes" have always existed. But you are correct. No safe spaces back then, but it didn't stop many of them from crying for mommy while they cowered in a muddy trench.

You're right about that one. Sometimes you got to grow a couple of steel ones when it calls for it.

Are Millenials so soft that they're unable to defend their Country if a real war took place?

Maybe the current generation is just more intelligent and far more aware of the actual reality of the situation, than previous generations... They're not so inclined to blindly volunteer to be expendable pawns for TPTB.

Ummm...hahahahahahaha...Hahahahahahahaha...

I wish it worked like that, really I do.

Tell me, when has it ever Worked That Way??

Never.

Your tax dollars go to lots of things, like harboring illegals, putting pot heads with a gram in their pocket into prison for five years. Lets talk about that.

If the Enemy is in your back yard, what ya gonna say? Oh you can't shoot me Mr. Because ... I pay taxes!!!!

A time honored past time.

The US military is not in the business of protecting citizens.
That is the National Guard and Law Enforcement....complain to them
The US military is sworn to protect only one thing. One single document.

No, that's not it at all. These millennial "men" have less testosterone than the females these days. These young females are raunchy as hell. Meanwhile the guys(I use that term lightly) wear skin tight jeans, have ponytails and man buns and they cry(way too much). Its sad. My grandfather was part of the invasion force on D day, at 19. These 19 year olds cry if you yell at them.

Yeah but you see fragging just walking down the street in Queens or half a dozen places in Chicago. It's war town but in pockets.

Commenters should at least be military or veterans... otherwise it's just speculation and angst.

They seem to be very good pawns of the media and the leftist socialist agenda.

This is the part that worries me about the future of Society. It's a big problem now, but if an invasion took place, no one would have a chance. My Grandad was in the war too and I can't even post what he would say if he came back and saw the state of things.

I think that throughout history we have always had to put up with entitled candy-assed wieners in every aspect of life, even the military.

But I do not ever remember a time when so many of the entitled candy-asses were proud and justified their myopic world-views.

It used to be a negative, something to be ashamed of. A weakness of character.

But now? People are trying to justify this character weakness as something positive.

It's too bad that so many are entering politics and are in the media now.

But even whiny little bitches have freedoms too.

Speaking of freedoms. . . .

You ever notice than strong people defend freedoms while weak people hide behind them.

I think this whole thing is just a look over here while I do this. I have five people in my life that I would trust my life with. One can throw knife better than I and pack his 20lbs better than me. The other one that falls in this “category” just made his 350Z run laps around most cars. I belief being called a man is just a saying that should be based on ones character. I think these “men” can defend themselves much better than most I have met.

And trust me we are fully capable of defending our own land. Most will fall short but that same can be said of past generations as well.

I think that solely depends on which freedoms are on the table.

The freedom to take other peoples freedoms isn't to me, a valid excuse. There are a lot of examples today, there are people to abuse their freedoms to dishonor and remove the freedoms of others. It's not really a b/w situation anymore.
