WHo's to judge what his "true self" is? Maybe he likes to maintain a strong nuclear family...but still has an itch to scratch? That arrangement is between him and his wife. And them keeping it from their kids seems very prudent.

Had Mrs. Obama, if there was one at that time, just given birth to the Senator’s child?

If the answer to either of these questions is not a verifiable “Yes”, than you are trying to compare “apples to oranges” with regard to the “allegations” raised by Ms. Daniels, and that is hardly the “equal justice” you seem to be arguing for.
