Have you considered that maybe the terror groups being talked about are the ones who would go after you seeking to do serious damage to your life just for harboring that opinion?

The ones where online outrage follows people back into their personal lives, ruins their jobs, etc.
If someone made a serious effort to out you for who you actually were and report you to your RL peers and coworkers, your HR dept., etc., it can have serious consequences for you. You are tried and convicted by the mob, not the law.
