A prominent Harvard Law School professor who has repeatedly called for removing President Trump from office is teaching a course solely dedicated to impeaching the 45th president.

Laurence Tribe, a distinguished constitutional law professor and former Obama Justice Department appointee, teaches “Constitutional Law 3.0: The Trump Trajectory,” CampusReform.org reported.

Students “will explore what the Trump presidency might mean for American constitutional law, how we might expect the Constitution to constrain Trump’s execution of his powers and duties, and what #impeachment and removal by other means might resemble in the Trump era,” according to the course description.

Outside the classroom, Tribe has made it clear he is anti-Trump.

Tribe has consistently advocated for Trump's removal from office in television interviews, op-eds, and even a forthcoming book called "To End a Presidency: The Power of Impeachment."

Students are learning about “how we might expect the Constitution to constrain Trump’s execution of his powers and duties, and what #impeachment and removal by other means might resemble in the Trump era,” the course description explains.

While the course description is short, Tribe has made his position on Trump very clear. Not only is his forthcoming book—To End a Presidency: The Power of Impeachment (May 2018)—dedicated to it, but Tribe has recently called for impeachment in numerous ways.

Harvard Law offering class on Trump ‘impeachment and removal’

SO, an outspoken hater for the president, who happens to be in an educational position to influence the political minds of students, has created a class (that he chooses the students allowed in the class based upon an entrance essay) has a new avenue to market his upcoming book. And Harvard has not problem with this at all?

Makes me wonder if the topic was former president Obama's toxic racially charged influence, constant and flagrant use of executive orders to side-step the Constitution, is the approved way a president must act according to his mind.

The fact he must "approve" your attendance also is a slap in the face of true diversity of thought and does not foster any type of true dialog and discussion since it is likely he will be creating an echo chamber atmosphere.

Not a good plan in being accepting of diversity and difference of opinion to me.

Looks like community colleges are teaching more than Ivy League colleges are these days.

What a disgrace.

so, why is this school allowing a teacher to teach this? I think maybe replacing the board overseeing the college would be a good thing to do. I am not impressed with Harvard, it is a place to teach people corruption and how to step on heads of other people without feeling one bit guilty.

They create goats there who control the sheep. Goats can be very disrupting to societies.

"Laurence Tribe, a distinguished constitutional law professor and former Obama Justice Department appointee"

Sounds like just another hack to me, doing some masters bidding.

It's times like these, when I think of the level of free thinking that I've apparently been blessed with, that make me feel like I shouldn't even be a part of this pathetic race of autonomous fleshbags.

It seems that more and more the only acceptable president is a Democrat and the only acceptable path is one approved by the DNC and their media. As long as Republicans get elected, the media, Academia and Hollywood will do all they can to over turn or delegitimatize that president. When a Democrats is in office, all well be well and critics of that president will be hounded and discredited.

I see an Ivy League school on a resume, it goes into the recycling bin. The backlash against this bulls# is already happening in the workplace.

I want people who can think for themselves, not zombies brainwashed by the establishment political elite.

Harvard is a f# joke.

Too bad you jump to conclusions and paint someone with an opposing viewpoint at a member of a large group. Way to add value to the thread. I guess you can't refute the claim so you need to attack the people.

No ivy league school should be teaching ANY politically biased course where it's students are selected by an openly biased instructor. It is a fact this professor was an Obama appointee, so my comparison is quite valid here. Context matters in a discussion, personal feeling do not.

I'd like to take that course and fail it, just to mess with the libtard teacher.

If you got into the class. Remember, the applicants must write an essay on why they agree with the precept and be "approved" to attend by the professor. He is, in effect, creating an echo chamber where dissenting viewpoints will not be allowed. That is also part of my disgust that this approach is allowed at an ivy league institution.

Sounds normal to me, delusional people want to create more who share the same delusions. That is how we have a steady stream of politicians in this country, they brainwash others to follow their desired path.

That would be the moment to fail the course, he would be so triggered reading my essay. Hahaha...

Just imagine the rejection letter in a frame, hanging on the wall next to my metal detecting finds

Also my grammar sucks...haha.

Flagrant use of executive orders? have you been hibernating for two years?

However I agree-teachers need to leave their bias at home-i got kicked out of class because I laughed at a mandatory religion lesson. Teachers should be-nay must be impartial.

If someone wants to pay for that garbage all I have to say is a fool and his money are soon parted.

What I find more disturbing about Harvard is how they discriminate against Asians. We will be seeing that go to the supreme court very soon.

If Harvard doesn't have a problem with it OK. Not much of a useful credit. It has a short life expectancy.

...and how to sell your book to a captive audience that depend upon you to grade them on the class.

All kinds of biases in this situations, from all angles.

They are creating future high end lawyers to work for the Democrats it appears. I suppose the Democrats will support this, all the Democrats might need lawyers in the next three years to protect them from slander lawsuits.
