Seems like it would have been super easy to track down? Any package dropped off at a bombed address would have had to have a trail, from where it was dropped off, to the final destination. Probably even the time it was dropped off. Then they just need to check the cameras. Since there were multiple bombs, just had to ID the same person dropping off multiple times. Then from there, figure out who it was you were looking at (if he provided false info as the sender).

I imagine they first determined who they thought it was.. -then- checked his browsing history. Of course, the fact they could do that, proves they are still pretty much tracking all Internet traffic. Patriot act seems like even when reigned in.. is still running strong.

if this dude is the bomber i don't care about his faith . i do want to find out of any cohorts or if he was lonewolf.

Various people have been trying to portray him as a fundamentalist Christian, mainly because they want to push a narrative that Christianity is baaaaaaaaaad.

No, absolutely nobody is doing that.

Where people are talking about him being a fundementalist christian, they are doing so to say that fundamentalism is bad.

Absolutely nobody is saying christianity is bad.

Local news Austin Statesman is reporting he argued against abortion, gay marraige and homosexuality in blogs.

twitter.com...

Ok, I'm going to "go there" to make a point to the brick walls in the thread. Remember to read it in Sarcasm the first go around, because if I have to repeat "Remember to read it in Sarcasm", I'm going to have to get...unkind about lack of reading skills--

With what we know so far, we can safely deduce he's a conservative Christian terrorist. I'm not satisfied with simply saying it's just him & him alone responsible for his actions, he had to learn these beliefs from somewhere. Like his church. We know there's huge numbers of Christians (who cares about specific sects, they're all the same anyway) out there who pervert "the word" to engage in underage marriage, plural marriage, see their wives as just second-class baby-making "helpmeets", harass the gays & unbelievers and try to control the general freedoms of the rest of us based on their antiqued scripture. I'm not all that surprised one of theirs has yet again bombed somewhere, what an angry, ragey bunch of sorry sacks. Somebody should probably do something about these fanatics, stiff laws or something.

/sarc
Sound familiar? Don't like it? Probably should pick the wad of panties out of there then and start being less stereotypical when someone bat guano attacks somewhere. If the above offends you as broad-brushing & marginalization, good. Don't forget it, and stop perpetrating it.

I am sensing a dead mans switch on the door of the truck.

I see that the leo made him open the door and boom.

He had string attached to device and door.

I would say that Christianity is not the problem. Jesus said to treat others the way you would want to be treated. Blowing innocent people up completely goes against that, so anyone who says they are blowing people up in the name of Christ is a poser.

Well I hope the authorities and media would dsiahree with you.

Because by being pc in this way, they would not look at the links to this extremist group, and more people would die.

But we already see that happening with other groups.

His social media got scrubbed and we all know what that means.

That the federal authorities are investigating the situation?

Is there another, more likely scenario you are trying to imply here?

To hide it from the public and create their own narrative.. What would you think is a legitimate excuse to just scrub his history? They can investigate just as easily if they didn't scrub it.

Folks, Google is the problem and so is Fed-Ex. If they did not exist this guy could not find his targets or ship his packages. We need better controls or outright bans on these two entities. I know its just a start and 99.9 percent of the people don't go around bombing other people but if it saves just one life, we must ban these entities.

Pitchfork in hand, whos with me!?!?!

Hand delivered, no postmark. The bomber, err umm misunderstood millennial dropped them off personally to a lot of these addresses.

No trail as you say, no trail period.

So where did he gain the explosives expertise spoken of by the authorities just a few days ago? They were pegging him as being former military or police. It was all over the media.

www.cnn.com...

"The device's success, despite significantly different design, further suggests that the bomb maker behind these attacks is an accomplished one, and has likely to have received some training, perhaps as a military or police explosive ordnance disposal technician."
