my mom told me i used to watch sesame street of course. that was when i was younger than 7 though.
i really dont remember watching many kids type shows

i remember cable/movie channels were pretty new.
i watched the # out of martial arts movies. those are the first things i remember
i remember watching airwolf with my dad.

i dont remember too much from back then. my first memory was pretty traumatic and anything pretty closed to that time is pretty patchy for me.

Could you imagine a world populated with Mr. Rogers-like people? Man, that would be one nice place....

I loved Mr. Rogers. If you didn't like him, that's ok. Just don't hate on him, ok?

I loved how nice he was, and was so polite, and explained everything, even when the puppets were being mean. Was it the kitten that always need to learn something?

I have such nice memories of my babysitter making me cinnamin toast while I watched his show.

Sure. A reply nobody cares about because its from a dude nobody cares about who has no idea of the cultural impact that a children's show has on growing minds... Just because you think nobody cares, does not make it the truth. I am willing to bet there are scores of people who would disagree with you.

I am going to hazard at least 10s of thousands of people who are now adults.......that grew up with Mr. Rogers.

It will be interesting indeed to see how the movie is accepted. In 2018 you don't want to think about a lone man with a Liberace voice, inviting children into his house so they can go off to imaginary land. Very different world today.

Just watched a special about him on pbs. Can't tell you how much I love that dude. Most genuine guy to ever walk this stinking ball of shnit. I've always wondered, who win in a fight.
