The BIG CRIME is that there is a TRAITOR in the President's inner circle. That is why Trump put out the "I called Putin to congratulate him!", bait to the press. As we speak, Chief of Staff JOHN KELLY is closing in on the leaker. Only a few people would know about the "Do Not Call To Congratulate Putin" wording.

And, from what I heard, that wording was put there just for the purpose "baiting" the leaker. The daily briefing papers do not TELL President Trump what to say/not say. He would ignore it anyway, according to people who've worked there.

Except none of that is true. Trump has been so bad at business that his wealth has appreciated at a considerably slower rate than if he had simply put it into an index fund and let it sit at 7% per year (well below market average). Putting money in the market would have created jobs too... it would have created more jobs even.

The guy is a third rate businessman who has been beaten by every single other billionaire on the planet. On top of that he didn't even earn his fortune, he inherited it.

Trump doesn't do anything (anymore) with the day to day operations of any properties that bear his name. He has property managers that do that.

This is a guy who said 2007 was a great time to buy real estate. Who thought selling steaks in The Sharper Image was a great idea. Who couldn't make money in a casino during a boom time for the industry.

Quite simply, he is bad at business. The only thing he has been successful at is creating the image of success and then licensing that image. The reality however is quite different.

What makes you think there's only one leaker? For that matter, what makes you think it was one of Trumps staff? One of Trumps go to tactics is to leak information himself. Sometimes he does it intentionally just to create news, and other times he does it unintentionally because he doesn't know how to keep his mouth shut.

I don't see that anyone's been canned. Leaks have been a constant problem with the White House, which usually indicates staff morale is low. I suspect McMaster won't last the year and I'd be surprised if Kelly's still there in a year.

at 2.55% 42 years later he would have 40 million...

There were a lot of leftover staffers from Obama too that everyone of them most likely hated him for Hillary and what they saw as what should have been continued service with another democrat. I really don't think anyone sees working close with the President a bad thing, its a once in a lifetime event, so I think there is much more turmoil reported by the news than what actually is there. We also know that in any meeting, no matter how secret, if a democrat is in it, and many are, there is a bee line right to the press.

It's known that there's more than one leaker... and yes, Trump has often been the source. I think that it's a sign of strong morale problems there.

The thing is... this is staff that he and Jared and Ivanka selected, if memory serves. So they had actually hired their own leakers.

Actually, the leaks have been there since day 1 (you may have forgotten some of the news stories and the resistance twitter accounts) and there have been several staff purges. In addition, (if you remember) a lot of people were given the door in the first month of his office. Many positions have never been filled, leaving staff doing the work of 2-3 people.

Reports that morale is bad involve the staff being told to say one thing (or supporting one position that Trump took) only to have Trump change his mind (like the recent one about the border wall) - your sources may say that all's rosy but if you've ever been at a job where there's a lot of firings and constant changes in policy, you know how bad morale can get.

Heck, I've been in jobs like those. They'd give you ulcers inside three months.
