I would be all for the military budget wasted on bs to be spent on space exploration though.

Do something cool for once, that's why everyone is going schizo, people are built to explore, not sit in cubicles getting brain dumb, so a few can go explore.

SpaceX timeline is the 2020s for a manned mission. NASA is shooting for the 2030s. If Trump is still alive then(and he may very well be), humans will be on Mars.

You really need to take a step back from the echo chamber you live in.

Yeah me too, the time for star trek grade stuff is overdue. We don't even have good hoverboards yet.

There is still a drugflow, weapons, criminals/ terrorist entryway problem regardless, that is an actual threat.

I would prefer a military invasion of Mexico vs a bandaid, wipeout cartels, try to get a system going with good Mexicans, and let them prosper and be ba allies, we should want that with all our neighbors, christ they're not going to float away from the US anytime soon.

We aren't going anywhere with the space junk that orbits the Earth right now. Everyone wants to be a space cadet but in reality no one wants to think about clearing the low earth orbit of all the space debris that could cause a starship to get blown to pieces before reaching inner space.

Every speech is very well written and planned before.

If he's saying something about creating a Space Force then its government's interest to create a - not so benevolent - Space Race.
