Fox News has both Liberal hosts (example: Sheppard Smith), and Conservative hosts (Sean Hannity).

Fox news is the reason why news outlets are so poor these days.
They cracked the code of news reporting.

If Fox started doing heaps of negative stories about Trump they would lose viewers.
If CNN started doing heaps of positive stories about Trump they would lose viewers.

I don't like it but it's hard to argue that News agencies (which exist for profit) shouldn't appeal to their targeted demographic.

Keep in mind, Obama wasn't under investigation by the FBI, hadn't been recorded claiming sexual assault or sued by a porn star and didn't have a white house staff that had a 43% turnover rate.

Look at market share? Most media platforms are selling advertisements because they exist to make money. They aren't ethical informers here to tell us all, "Just the facts, ma'am. Just the facts." Popular programming attracts higher fees for advertising. Successful websites and newspapers charge more to advertise.

What you are seeing is a highly curated media set up to attract the widest audience (consumers and customers) possible. Nobody forces us to watch FOX or CNN. It's a choice and they are selling us what we want the most.

Everyone says they want the 'the unbiased Truth' but it doesn't sell and it might not really exist. In reality, we all want reaffirmation of our core beliefs. New Scientist doesn't compete with HuffPo or Brietbart because partisan political BS is more attractive than science.

I know many of you ain't gonna like this, but other people live in the United States too. Don't like it? Quit paying so much attention to it. Or at the very least, let your guard drop and talk to other people sometime instead of yelling at and insulting them. If that's too much to ask, man, you've got the media soul sickness deep and I don't know how to help you further.

Pretty much everyone here used to acknowledge that the media is controlled dissemination of information, a group of organizations run by a handful of people who control what we see, hear and think. But they've been so divided by politics now that they are defending it now because it is on 'their side' and massages their confirmation bias.

This forum is dumber than it used to be. Shows how effective constant bombardment of bs can be.

What's sad is that so many of these "accomplishment"s are negative. Tax revenues increased in January because people wanted to take advantage of the transition between rules. Property owners will not be able to deduct property taxes next year. Taking climate change off the "danger list" will cost us as more federal funds are needed repair the damage caused by rising seas and extreme weather. Boasting of "non-criminal arrests" is actually frightening.

You aren't saying that these reports are incorrect surely. Don't blame the media.
They're just reporting the truth.
If you just watch Fox you're the one who is being misled with fake news.
Hate to tell you. You need to tune in to one of those other stations to learn what's really going on.. Then maybe when people bring the real stories here you won t be all surprised by them or the results of the investigation.

You do know that MSM covered the taxes, and all the job reports and everything else.
The difference is that he wants to take credit for things he had nothing to do with and you want to praise him for the things that Obama actually did.
