Hello ATS and distinguished members, it's an honor to be here.

Hi, my name is Max. I will not waste time beating around the bush with lip service, I was a member here before but circumstances and series of misfortunate events separated me from what was once, in my mind, a normal life. I'm 99% fringe and 1% skeptic and 100% open-minded. I have always been intrigued by UFO's, Bigfoot, Ness, and so on, and I have had close friends and friendly strangers tell me stories of strange phenomena, way before Coast2CoastAM I was listening to the Alan Handleman Show every Sunday night in the late to mid 90's. I have even witnessed with my own eyes and ears what should be considered impossible, but what actually opened my mind's eye was 2 vids, on 2 separate occasions, the first being a vid I came across by accident in which Cynthia McKinney stood before her colleagues stating she had proof the Central Intelligence Agency was running drugs, operating child sex rings, and was behind assassination all over the world. A few years pass and I came across a vid regarding September 11, 2001. It was from a website called AboveTopSecret.
Since then I spent hours upon hours, days upon days, watching vids, listening to radio shows, reading, trying to find answers that make sense to me, for the multitude of questions that I have about Life. Not just my life, but Life in general, how and why it is the way it is, and if it can be changed, altered, to become a more comfortable fit. I am a person of Faith, can't live without it. A person without faith would never leave his or her home, we use faith everyday to get us to the next. However my faith sometimes drowns in my fear. Fear has always been a struggle for me, and I have conquered some of my fears, phobias would be the "correct" term I am sure the veterans of ATS would say, but I get to the point without the use of nine syllables, when possible. I don't flaunt my education or lack thereof because the mind is not what defines a person, it's what's in their heart that is the meat and potatoes. An expensive suit and expansive vocabulary mean nothing if your heart's not in the right place. Peace, Love, Charity, these are the riches that bring Happiness.

Wow, those are some fancy cookies, I would feel really bad about ruining the art on them. I guess if we only had cookies like that in the house it would be good, I would be twenty pounds lighter over my lifetime.

Haha yeah it does seem that way at times. But I am starting to feel like the line between politics and fringe is slowly fading.
