If true then all these officers, especially the ordering officer should be charged with child endangerment, felony neglect, involuntary manslaughter.

No officers arrived while the shooting was still ongoing.

If it was a staged event, such an order would be necessary to keep the true identities of the actual shooter(s) protected.

Well that's not true, since the logs show that units on scene were reporting shots fired.

Gun haters upset that on scene police didn't go in and use their......GUNS to stop the shooter....

And people can't figure out why we find their illogical hypocrisy so maddening

Let's see. If you have been unsuccessful in getting your gun control legislation you might want more people to die.

Well in my State of Cali their is no gun show loop hole like they have in many other states, so here if y wanna buy a gun legally its gotta be done through a licensed FFL Dealer. But in Florida or many other states you can literally exchange ownership of a gun in a parking lot with no reprocussions other than if your not aloud to own one like if you were a felon. But then you'd have to get caught while doing so and i dont think that would happen amd it doesnt because look at all the gun violence their is in chicago. They rnt getting them from their local shops because they have none its all outlawed. They get them from other states through people buying them and flipping them in whats called a 'Straw sale/straw purchase' which is when u buu a weapon with the intent of flipping it to somebody who aint supposed to have one. Fact check me on this, but did you know ATF and even DOJ allowed straw sales to happen along our borders to mexico by basically allowing gunstores 2 sell guns to parties they believed were buying with the intent to give to someone who should not have it? Cartels. Yup under the obama administration is when they got popped for it because a cartel shootout happened in i believe NM/mexico bord where they shot and killed one of our border patrol agents with a gun that was purchased from a gunstore here in America that was illegal given to the cartel. Look up Operation Fast and Furious its a doozy. Now they r screaming for more background checks but the problem with that is eventually it might lead to hurting more civilians who need to protect themselves. In cali we have 2 wait 10 whole days "cool off period they calls it" but if your Johnny Blaze from down the street you won't wait 10 days youll just go steal it illegaly or purchase it from a black market because thats what black markets are for, all the while me and you the helpless civilian or even veteran has 2 wait to cool off because we may be buying this weapon with ill intent. Even though almost every other state can run your background check in 15 mins or less. Criminals do not need background checks thats why they are criminals. Unless your Nicky Cruz from Florida. Im telling you this is a set up so that the rest of the nation can be like Commifornia and eventually theyll try to ban it out right. First the 2nd amendment crumbles then the rest fall like dominos. Arm yourself now before its to late. Im sorry for the long rant. Stay safe friends and family

Crazy thing is that there were another four officers camping outside while kids were slaughtered. The whole thing smells like a set-up.

This is why we need the 2nd Amendment. The cops are not liable to defend citizens. This was already determined by the courts.

Oh they're doing more than censoring. They've been completely removing the videos of anyone that mentions another shooter from YouTube, Google, facebook, and Twitter.

A buddy sent me a link to a video on infowars (yeah I know) showing the cops carrying out what looks like a bodybag and putting it into a plain white pickup. Nothing on what's in the bag but it's obvious whatever it is has some weight to it. Makes me wonder if it's the "full metal" body armor from the shooter two different teachers described. Or the body of someone that wasn't supposed to be there?

Here's the linkyto the video.

If they all had disobeyed orders and (stupid/brave) run in there trying to get the bad guy, they would end up shooting at each other.

The only people claiming they weren't brave or (what) were told to "not engage" the suspect, are ignorant of tactics in these kind of situations.

This is outrageous. Whoever issued this order has NO business working in the public venue, and certainly not in law enforcement.

What law were they enforcing? The law that says place your own well being over that of a bunch of defenseless kids?

Regardless of any order given, the cop onsite was chicken shlt and unwilling to do his job.

He can retire with full benefits, but he'll live the rest of his life knowing he could have made a difference that day, but sat outside scared.

Meanwhile the left wants us to give up our rights and allow these people to "protect us" when they are ordered to stand down. This is proof that the police cannot be relied upon.

The cop said (via his attorney) the report came in as "firecrackers", and when he realized it was gunshots, he stayed outside because he thought the shots were coming from outside.

I wonder why his attorney didn't say he was ordered to stay outside to begin with? And why then, were the other cops who were there seen by SWAT taking cover behind their cars instead of securing the perimeter and looking for him?

This is not making sense. It sounds like this particular police department is still busy trying to protect themselves and their jobs, just like they did that day.

The fact that the shooter was taken into custody without incident and then taken to a hospital for a psyche evaluation should be evidence enough for all of you that this whole thing is not right.

Jesus!

Cops gun down the kid = very convenient way to silence the patsy
Cops take kid into custody = something doesn't smell right, they would have taken him out

All this shows is that there was cowardice from the top down.

I feel sorry for Broward County inhabitants.

Several media outlets are now confirming that Broward County Sheriff Officers arriving at Marjory Stoneman Douglas high school (Parkland, FL.) were ordered to NOT engage the shooter. To stay outside the school. While they waited outside, Nikolas Cruz murdered 17 students/faculty, and injured 14 others.

Excerpted from nearby Miami Herald: www.miamiherald.com...

The Broward Sheriff’s Office captain who initially took charge of the chaotic scene at a Parkland high school where 17 people were killed, told deputies to form a perimeter around the deadly scene — which they did, instead of going in to confront the shooter, according to a partial BSO dispatch log obtained by the Miami Herald.

Capt. Jan Jordan, commander of BSO’s Parkland district, gave the order, the log shows, identifying her by her police call sign.

Broward Sheriff Scott Israel has said BSO training and nationwide active-shooter procedure call for armed law enforcement officers to confront shooters immediately rather than secure a scene.

Some people are saying that receiving an order to "stay outside" while the killing is occurring, is not as bad as a "stand down" order. I think that's just parsing words. The hideous outcome is the same either way.

-CareWeMust

Very interesting. It's almost as if they either didn't want to "bother with the paper work" (met some "monthly quota"?), or the order to stand down originated with someone whose intentions were to let the shooter(s) finish the job.

Either alternative is ...surreal - but who knows what goes on behind the scenes these days. It is a distinct possibility that human lives are mere collateral in some bigger chess game.

The third alternative is that the Police were afraid to engage - that seems implausible.
