How can this be leagle , isn't this grad ? If you are here illegally how can you vote , does this work for felons too?

Yeah they shouldn't be able to vote, what's next allow Russians on vacation to vote.

Your statement on Felons is complete BS.

If felons are good enough to pay taxes, they are good enough to vote.

In fact it is illegal that they can't vote, but can be taxed.

No taxation without representation.

This is the only reason some states reinstate your voting rights, it's not so you can participate in a rigged vote with pre picked representation, it's so they can legally tax you.

The same way happens in Chicago/Illinois, and most other states/cities because democrats and the left in general have been obstructing any chance to verify whether people voting are citizens or not. They hide behind claims of "not being fair"...

(edited for possibly being a wrong statement)

Here.

...
Some of the most common rights lost or severely curtailed by a felony record include:

Voting
Traveling abroad
The right to bear arms or own guns
Jury service
Employment in certain fields
Public social benefits and housing
Parental benefits

Lost voting rights

Most states prohibit felons from voting while they are currently incarcerated. Upon receiving parole or completing their sentences, many convicted felons find that it is more difficult to vote than it was before. Some states ban felons from voting for a certain period of time after their release while others ban felons for life.

Republicans should write and pass a bill calling for the imprisonment of any official who tries to give non-citizens, including illegals, the ability to vote in our elections. They should go after everyone who is doing this to gain votes from non-citizens/illegals. 10-20 years imprisonment should be more than enough of a deterrent.

In local news, here in South Texas, my county's drivers license office was recently shut down and relocated to another city because the driver's branch was busted giving illegals drivers licenses. Seems related.

Illegals shouldn't be voting in US elections. This should be grounds to be deported. Maybe inform voters that any illegals caught voting will be deported. If officials are there at voting stations checking records of voters, maybe it will deter illegals. Votes of illegals would need to be thrown out. The democrats might be equally upset if millions of Russian visitors suddenly voted in US elections for someone besides their party. Right now it makes me wonder how many illegals are voting.

REGISTERED TO VOTE...

Apparently you are not familiar with the “acorn con”....

What happens is these forms will pay college kids and other unemployed people 5$ per person they register.

Well there used to be no real way to track who was registered in the field. So they would just accept any registrations that were filled out..

This led to people just going home and filling them out with fictional names they would just make up. Rather than actually going out and registering people.

Because of that you can find Elmer Fudd and bugs bunny in every state, BUT THEY OBVIOUSLY DONT SHOW UP TO VOTE.

It is just one more rightwing scandal, investigated by a GOP congressional committee which found no wrong doing..

It is a joke..

Just another way for conservative pundits to make the gop base look like retards..

Ah, yes... information surfaces to back up what has been suspected for the longest time - that Democrats are padding their vote totals with illegals - and of course any such information is a giant right-wing conspiracy.

No really, all 100,000 just say Bugs Bunny and no one shows up to vote.

Move along, nothing to see here...

Yep, everyone knows it is happening. Just imagine what the illegal voter count is in California! It's not like the CA gov't is going to admit it or do anything about it.

In PA, I have wondered if this voter registration policy has something to do with their resistance to the Real ID Act. PA has fought for extensions multiple times for years, claiming cost to implement. Now we have until Oct of this year. After that, a PA driver's license can no longer be used to board a plane, enter a federal building, etc. The real reason for fighting it may mean that it would reveal how many people with PA drivers licenses are not citizens.

Always find it amusing, many on the left say requiring an ID to vote is an unnecessary hardship, but in the same breath say anything related to the second amendment should be taxed and legislated till such a point as the majority of people cant afford it.

The disconnect is kind of alarming to me.

gerrymandering has been going on for a long time . If you think it is just the GOP you have your eyes closed and your mind too . You really need to realize both parties do not have your best interest in mind .

Ummm...maybe what we need is a mandatory waiting period...after a vote...

Once we determine how many votes were illegal...either from illegal aliens or dead people or those that like to vote numerous times in a single election...
Then we deduct those illegal votes from the total cast for all parties...

That's how we determine the true vote totals...that and a valid voter ID...

I guess with that formula...we'll never see another Democrat victory again...ever...

Win...Win...

I know felons can't vote , but if they pay their debt to Society then they should be able to.

I just don't understand how someone here illegally can get an ID and be allowed to interfere with an election . it's worse that Russians TRYING to influence people with words.

Too bad the liberals are too engrossed in trying to find out how Ivana Trump got her Visa 17 years ago to worry about 100k illegals voting in the next election.

Trump needs to change the max penalty from one year to ten years for voting as a noncitizen. Then step up it’s enforcement so that these noncitizen idiots know with a high degree of certainty that if the vote they will go to jail.

No. We don't need to pay for 10 years of incarceration. Just make they sure they get front of the line for deportation after civil forfeiture proceedings help to pay for their trip back home.

Next time READ.

He said Pennsylvania had already admitted to a “glitch” dating back to the 1990s that had allowed noncitizens applying to renew driver’s licenses to be offered the chance to register to vote. Mr. Adams said he now wants to find out how bad the problem is overall.
