The Navy has announced they plan to accelerate construction of the Arleigh Burke Flight III destroyers. The current plan sees construction of new ships increased next year to 3, up from 2 this year. The first Flight III will begin construction with them entering service in the 2020s.

The Block III will be slightly larger than existing hulls, and will carry the AN/SPY-6 AMDR radar. It's said to be 35 times more powerful than any existing ship based radar system, and capable of simultaneously tracking multiple air and missile targets.

So is this a move to compliment the Zumwalts and the sm6?

More to take full advantage of the SM-6. They've been working on the radar and hull design for years now. They finally cracked the cooling issue for the radar.
