Without being inside his head, we won't ever know what he knew, when he knew it, and what he chose to do about it, or not do about it.

Fair enough... to some extent.

We can come up with a reasonable scenario using other evidence...

The audio/transcript of his call to dispatch will tell us much in terms of what he knew, what he believed, what he was told, what he heard, what he saw. We can start there.

I believe that no communication device was available to Peterson... he was only for 'Show' & for the Schools' insurance rating to have a semi-retired Officer on Patrol on the grounds...
& who knows if Scot Peterson was not set in a sniper position, waiting for the gunman/gunmen to get into the open....

Broadcastify keeps recordings of radio traffic on their website. Unfortunately you have to be a premium member to access their archived feeds, which costs money.

I know there are some broadcastify members on ATS, so perhaps one of them will see this and pull the archives for us.

I'll point out that in 2017 two Capitol cops went toe to toe with a rifle-wielding attacker while they were themselves armed only with handguns.

And did so on a baseball field.

Please, just suicide quickly. No one will ever look at you again a without a disgusted expression. How can he look at himself in the mirror? He will see the faces of the kids he could have helped for the rest of his pathetic life! Just saying.

It's now being reported that the sheriff has covered up the fact that 3 more deputies arrived and did nothing to intervene. So a total of 4 deputies did nothing until the Coral Springs PD arrived. CSPD went in first. I'll look for a link.

Okay, you all are either going to hate me or love me. lol I was a dispatcher for about 21 years, 9 of them in a 911 center and 9 years answering 911 calls. I took the liberty of transcribing the pertinent parts of this tape. I didn't get every transmission, but I did get the information pertaining to the shooting incident and explained the codes. Brad Z, you're welcome to attach this to your scanner vid if you'd like. Just give me the credit for the work.

Also "radio malfunction" and now multiple deputies are said to have remained outside? This has got to be disinformation or a misunderstanding. In the case of the deputies, one remaining outside is a fluke. But three or more? That is frankly not possible. No one gave them orders to stage, that was for SRT folks

No, you can't.

But there's a certain level of expectation of performance when you're a LEO. Irregardless of the reality, many folks see the local cop/sheriff as someone they can depend upon to be there where the rubber meets the proverbial road.

Joe Friday. Matt Dillon. Wyatt Earp. Bat Masterson. etc... That it's not the reality, doesn't change the fact any.

When I was a kid, my sister and I heard noises in the back yard that scared our dogs half to death. Absolutely terrified them. We were 10 (me), and 15 (my sister)...we called the cops, with the expectation that they'd be there. They were. Ten of 'em. Checked the yard, the old garage in the back yard and my Dad's shop. Nothing. But two of them stayed with us, 'til Mom and Dad got back a bit later, an hour or so.

That's what they're supposed to be. The guys that come a'runnin' when danger calls.

Ten years later, I walk over to my sisters place, the same sister oddly enough, and find the door to her place wide open. No sister, no 3 year old niece, no 8 year old niece, no 13 year old cousin. No note. No nothin'.

That, my friend, is an OH, # moment...

So, I dial the cops--tell the operator what's goin' on, it takes 'em two hours...two f'n bleepin' hours to show up. Mean while, I'm goin' out of my mind with worry, not to say panic, though I wasn't far off. This is a prison town, for Christs sake, and some of the township are worse than the cons on the Hill. All manner of thoughts, none pleasant, are running through my head.

Two hours?? So, finally, they roll up, and casually saunter up to the porch... Terror/Fear, whatever you care to call it, was instantly replaced by sheer unadulterated rage...

I can not quote what I said, as I'd be banned, to those "police"... I got threatened with going to jail. It was then that everyone arrived home...they'd gone out shopping than to lunch.

My respect for police took a huge hit that day...let me tell you. I'm the one who calls, and I almost get arrested. I admit, my temper got the better of me...but the sheer level of "don't give a #" pissed me off. Still does, 30 plus years later...

Since then, I've had both good, mostly, and bad (few and far between, thankfully) encounters. But that ultimate, almost childlike trust, is gone. Yet many cling to it.

When the job also includes protecting our kids? Oh, I quite understand the reaction of disbelief, colored by anger/rage, that has been expressed.

When I first heard this story, I was instantly transported back to that open door, and 3 missing girls. Not fun. Not fun, at all.

As in, has there been a history of freezing when tshtf?

There’s no way to know how one would react in that situation, I’m sure all of us would like to think we’d have a clear mind and be able to act accordingly, but the reality is completely different.

Ate you suggesting the police are in league with the deep state or they just brainwashed those 4 not too act ?

This has little to do with elites and their plans for world domination, this is a case of poor training coupled with cowardice.

At ~29:00, just after radio traffic IDing the subject as N. Cruz came across, an officer (who sounds like the incident commander) on the radio mentioned spreading out the perimeter. Specifically, he stated "we need to spread this perimeter out, he could be as far away as Coral Springs Walmart" Then he starts verbally laying out the perimeter, and once again mentions Walmart. Specifically: "and locking down the Walmart" Was there a reason for this? Was there some type of sighting..? Was there another channel besides the dispatch channel? Tac channel? Otherwise, where is this information coming from?

Didn't he actually go to a Walmart? And several other stores?

Surely we aren't mind reading now, are we? Hopefully someone can point out the mistake I must be making here, it's late.

I tend to agree with you.

However, the item of "gun control" plays directly into plans of the elite. Actually, disarming us is 100% a requirement for any prospective subversion.

This country has better and more numbers of firearms than any country ever has. Even those populations found ways to craft cheap firearms out of junk, and really caused problems for invaders. In the case of Americans, a lot of "pro 2A folks" have military/le/public safety training. Them vs. armed American society? They don't stand a chance. Not even on our worst of days.

This is exactly why firearms had to become the very last line in the sand. Nothing good comes from confiscation or even regulation. At the very minimum, it is the duty of Constitution loving patriots to ensure nothing good would come from it, either. Believe me when I say nobody wants a government that isn't constrained by the Citizenry's credible checks and balances.

Imagine the difference if Nazi Germany would've drawn their line in the sand at disarmament?
