Of course it's the 1% that pits the two sides against each other..
as the two sides fight, the 1% continues to transfer wealth,
(steal from the lower & middle class) until the USA is a
third world country.

Hang on. Are you suggesting that American society is broken...because it needs a plumber? Is that guy not taking a public bath? Must admit, I was rather suspicious about him doing so, due to the absence of soap and lather and bubbles, and I can't see a towel either.
Of course, American society is broken, there has never been a time when it wasn't. It is like a delicate china cup, originally shattered into many pieces, but somehow all the pieces have come together, yet still missing the vital, and most important ingredient...the social glue that would bond it.
America has no social glue, so fractured and cracked ideologically. America is not a nation, and never has been, it is simply a collection of loosely-fitting ideological garments of irreconcilability, none of which aptly fit the body.

Like most Western societies I think you’re breaking in places. I don’t think you’re broken. The USA is an amazing place and stands for something. It’s worth fighting for.
However you did build your country on the blood and bones of the natives. That is a primal scream that will forever haunt you.
The founding fathers might have been inspired by the French revolution

very nice!
I didn't lookup my dates.
Keep me honest!
but the meat of my statement was still absolutely correct..
The founding fathers were inspired by a variety of people
who were considered of the "enlightenment era".

are you saying that *cough* alternative media sites say,
are contributing to the misanthropic thinking that is
taking over the US?
