Other than that he is an example of everything wrong with congress, just like Reid was, and Pelosi is, and Ryan is, years in office and completely out of touch with regular people.

One of the flaws of our system is that many of these people can rise to power and have undue sway over the entire country, but they are elected by a small district which the rest of us have zero control over. Many of these long time politicians are protected because their districts have been gerrymandered and a system put in place that makes it practically impossible for any newcomer to push them out.
McConnell doesn't care about the broader Republican electorate because he is really only beholden to the people in his district, but his power and influence affects us all.
This is an issue on both the left and the right.
