If You so choose, I bet You could find a 'Conservative™' who'd overlook similar crimes w/in their 'party' as long as they get their way... Remember when Obama became POTUS ? Remember the first 5 years those w/a (R) did NOTHING but drag their feet?? When new crooks are erected, they don't start politicking but first is set things up to benefit from their positions, who to 'pay back' from their new position...

As long as You continue to think there is a (R)/(D) nothing..NOTHING will get done for the taxpayer..

When arguing about a politician™ there is more likelihood that You have more 'in common' with the person(s) You're arguing 'with' than that of the politician™ You're arguing 'about', but the politicians know this and work it to their advantage...

After watching the mechanics, We still have a loooooooooooooooooooooooooong way to go..

So how can We get rid of those commie libs? (I mean really...)

Stay Hydrated...

Both sides are guilty of ignoring the "bad" and focusing in the "good". You're never going to agree with someone's actions or policies 100℅.

First of all, "The Man" is whomsoever is in power, assuming they are oppressing minorities, oppressing the youth, oppressing the new ideas and the preventing the procession of power away from corporations, and toward the people. "The Man" could be companies, governments, police agencies, ministers and priests in Churches... its whoever has the power or most represents the longest running status quo (which, by the way, is why there will not be any such thing as a left winger member of the status quo in America, not until at least four hundred years of largely left leaning politics has saved America from anti-science and the abomination of corporatism).

Second of all, no hippie ever born has ever been on board with "The Man", other than Charles Manson. He was right on with "The Man", because if there is anything that focuses power in the government during a period in history beset by the civil rights movement, its starting a damned race war artificially... might as well have been working for the damned government at the time.

You are misinformed....the republican party has 10 fold more criminal activity and that includes indictments, convictions, and PRISON time.

The alt right, spin the Lib dems to be the crooked one, when in fact the Republican party has always been the most corrupt in the past 55 years, and not by just a little bit.

I was trying to cut and paste the hilights, but it wont let me do it....anyway here is a link that VERY CLEARLY shows everything that I just said...

at least they could buy a junk car for a hundred bucks and spend time fixing it up and end up with a really nice rod??

but really, I think every generation goes through a period in their late teens and early 20s or so where they want to change the world, make their mark, have a revolution so to speak. and, well, eventually they settle down some, become part of the establishment so to speak and they take their best ideas and make them reality...

as opposed to the actual poliwogs in washington who define the term "pocket change" to mean hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars... and no, it's not confined to the liberals....
just check out just how much the conservatives are being paid by the NRA to trade our kid's safety and lives for "gun rights".....

21 million dollars towards electing trump.... ya, that's some pocket change!!!

anybody who buys into the left/right paradigm is easy to sway.

If we're really so easy to sway, then why can't you sway us?

ETA: Also, you say that we're for "the man" now. But the last time I checked, Republicans control the vast majority of State and federal government branches. And they control both Chambers of Congress, the Presidency, and the Supreme Court. Politically speaking, wouldn't that make conservatives "the man"?

Appears to me most left or right are easy to sway.
I hope you all wake up and realise they are the same both just screwing us all.

ya, I heard that one, the florida shooter might have been a white supremacist. that's an entirely different issue...
before you changed your post, it had something about all you had to do was jingle some pocket change in front of the liberals to sway them....
just pointing out just how much "pocket change" is being jingled in front of some of our conservative lawmakers to convince them to refuse to pass even the littlest regulation in an attempt to keep assualt rifles out of the hands of crazies while it seems that every two to three days, some nut is shooting at kids in the schools...

heck I could also point out that nice report that came out awhile back about how Russia was funneling money through the NRA for trumps campaign...
maybe the reason why so many conservatives are all flustered about a kid who refuses to say the pledge, or foot ball players that refuse to stand for the anthem is that they are afraid that if they don't wrap themselves in that flag, they would be naked and all would see just how unamerican and unpatriotic they are??

Are conservatives really that easy to sway?

All you have to do is hint at new jobs (that you never deliver), denigrate those in extreme poverty, and say abortion is bad and god is good and they will overlook any immoral or illegal (and generally profoundly hypocritical) behavior from their candidates and representatives.

My point is, if you hit the right, emotionally driven talking points to appeal to a given demographic they'll ignore everything else that doesn't fit into their world view.

Both sides do this.

how are you sure he wasn't... not saying I am sure that he was, but I haven't seen anything that really indicates that he wasn't. although I admit, I really ain't that read up on it.
and no one was any pocket change in front of my face to get me to consider the idea when I read the article that suggested that he was...

wonder what is sounds like to have $20 million or so worth of pocket change jingled in front of your face....
hmm... oh, well, will never know. the only change being jingled in my face is being held by one of my sons and consists of coins he wants me to hand onto because they are those "special little snowflakes" .....
