YOU Might Be Considered a Domestic Terrorist If This New Bill Passes

I hadn't planned on posting this, but it caught my attention and seeing as it's an issue; a validated one, would be a good idea to take a deeper look at what's happening here.

When you hear the word “patriot” do you think of someone who stands for the national anthem, perhaps serves in the Armed Forces, and loves their country? Well, “patriot” may become a dirty word if the new Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act of 2018 becomes a law. (And it probably will – we’ve seen the unPatriot Act and the NDAA repeatedly pass with little more than a rustle of dissent.)

But…what about Antifa? There is absolutely no mention of that group in the bill and they’ve wrought havoc all over the country, attacking anyone whom they suspected to be on the “other side”, causing exorbitant property damage, and promoting violence as necessary. The FBI and Homeland Security have both identified Antifa as domestic terrorists, yet they are conveniently exempt from mention in this bill.

The bill goes on further to credit the Southern Poverty Law Center—a group who makes hundreds of millions of dollars selling hate by labeling anyone they disagree with politically as a hate group… In return for those donations to SPLC, the world gets a group that now lists people like Ben Carson and Fox commentators Laura Ingraham, Judge Andrew Napolitano and Jeanine Pirro as extremists—but doesn’t list the leftist militant hate groups known as antifa. What’s your Domestic Terror Score? Back in 2012, the FBI told us how to identify the extremist next door with a helpful list.

Fair enough. I think we're so brainwashed these days into thinking either left or right, that we're not seeing the whole picture. The gray area is totally being ignored so people can scrap it out amongst themselves while nothing changes. And when it does happen, everyone's agast over it.

I agree, in my defense I wrote "righties " because in my experience they are quick to say come for my guns and it's the last thing you will do, lefties seem a little more like, hey I need my guns so go away.... But that's nothing more than my perspective based on replies here on Ats.

Not a problem. The left will be scrambling for their cherished throwaways when this happens. People without protection will do the natural thing anyone would, panic. When those people realize the enormity of what's taken place it will be too late.

Look man,
I'm all about individual rights and keeping the Govt. in check. But this bill is BS. It exists solely to pander to and score brownie points with this guy's leftist supporters. It has zero chance of being passed by a majority republican congress.

And even if the democrats wait and take a majority in Nov, it would still get vetoed by Trump. And on top of all that, I'd be willing to bet that SCOTUS would find a lot in there that is unconstitutional.

So I'm not concerned about it. It's Alex Jones fodder.
