I was going to give a listing of which indicators tend to give suspcious characters away
Then again , that's un needed by now
@MatthewWright on 5 that's right he's probably near entirely correct : if the children are not told the story of Peter Rabbit the way it was written
by Enid Blighton , with the full facts of the circumstances , it would take away from them the whole point .
The fact that the farmer was out to shoot Peter ... also, the nefarious details that he drank stella alot, had a criminal record, and he was
partially deaf , all the admittedly nefarious details.. children need to hear about these things , and early on . Otherwise they might easily get the
wrong ideas in life
