I just wish that Boston Dynamics would discover the idea of feet.
Yes, feet and ankles are very important and yet, they leave them off their robots.
Oh, and toes ... toes are important too.

Ummm...if humans had gyroscopes...we wouldn’t need feet...ankles or toes either...
If I live long enough for robot/Android bodies/partials to become mainstream...I’d forgo feet for gyroscopic balance in a heart beat...hell...I’d opt for wings as well...and fins...etc...
All as accessories of course...plug and play...

And horses have hooves so... Feet might be nice, but we already know they aren't strictly necessary.

That's amazing. With each passing year robots seem to get more and more intelligent. Our knowledge of programming is also getting better.
I'm sure programmers will put in a killswitch on robots the more intelligent they get. You can't have them going crazy without a failsafe.
Watching that video amazes me how fluid their movement is.

Pre-programmed robots are one thing, things will get really interesting when they start thinking for themselves.

Where's an EMP gun when you need one?
Yeah, that's creepy-cool. I'm serious about some kind of EMP device lol.
