I first came across that name from watching old martial arts movies. The current society doesn't seem to have any obvious connection to the ancient Chinese originals. But not had time for a proper delve.

It's the angle. Bill Clinton (and his chair) are directly facing the camera. For the Korean guy, you can see one of the back legs, and the guy's leg is hiding the other back leg of the chair.

So, what's the deal here? Are these North Koreans in the picture?

That certainly is an ominous-looking painting they're all sitting/standing in front of.

But that's not what he said. "Our attack on big pharma came w/ a warning letter today."

Q's attack came WITH A warning letter today. The attack and the warning letter came from Q, according to this sentence. There is no way to claim otherwise, unless you say Q doesn't understand sentence structure or english. Which opens a whole new can of worms in this whole Q saga.

If Q wanted to say what you read into it, Q would have said our attack was met with a warning letter today or that the attack elicited a warning letter.

Further, there would be no reason to say "message received." As the previous sentence would imply that they indeed got the warning letter containing the message.

I recall reading that the painting itself represents a duality of nature, the fragile sea birds in the forefront with the raw energy of the sea behind, a tremendous force of nature especially the way it's depicted in this painting.
What if the people in the picture are similarly arranged, with the real power in the background, and the frail creatures who live off of and at the behest of that power, in front?

I think someone else hit the nail on the head further back in the discussion: Clinton & Kim are arranged like husband & wife in a traditional Korean wedding photo. It's a hint that the US & NK are really partners, not enemies.
