Perhaps magnolias which is the official flower of N. Korea.
Happens to look exactly like the flowers in the new BHO portrait released today.

The BHO portraits released today are horrible!
They look like cartoons. It's really terrible.

Apparently they are magnolias. I did a search and founs this.... Reading the pictures .
The photo links come up as a 404, but the floral pattern of the carpet is mentioned in the comments.

Someone else mentioned that Obama looks like he sitting in a bush. I wonder if that's a subtle hint that he's really one of Bush's people.

I wonder if this is another case of cutting off the head/symbol. The SC is a symbol, but there are lower courts actually more powerful. The population is dominated by admiralty law courts not so much SC. Thomas was given the job before he graduated law school, that 9 headed beast isn't right at all.

SC hears cases that have been completed, about businesses (people are business now) so could the symbol be less a rearrangement of the SC but a symbolic whack down the food chain to remove administrative court powers? This would do more to change people's lives then replacing all the SC. Example the Pennsylvania judge who put thousands of kids in jail for a few bucks in kickbacks - nothing he did ever got to SC. Can of worms, lawyers, admin courts, fines etc. yet to be opened.

Multi-level: Q takes on each phase of control but lower courts so far.

It's the angle. Bill Clinton (and his chair) are directly facing the camera. For the Korean guy, you can see one of the back legs, and the guy's leg is hiding the other back leg of the chair.

So, what's the deal here? Are these North Koreans in the picture?

That certainly is an ominous-looking painting they're all sitting/standing in front of.

Maybe it's nothing. Just looks strange to me. WJC's chair is slightly cocked from KJI.
His chair also looks slightly wider to me.
