Yes! I think you are onto something here.

From your link, go down to the text describing 'transpose' and read it and notice the example in the sentence.

The transpose function transposes the rows and columns of its argument. For example,

D) UNTESTED - its possible there is a chess move code to second messages in some posts. We need to try a few examples using punctuation marks to interpret the order and pieces to be moved around the letters of the post that reveal the secondary message.

This makes sense.
I think there is some major coded messaging going on within the text of the posts.

Examples I keep coming across always use 'ALICE' as A in explanations of how ciphertext is utilized.

ALSO there are numerous references to utilizing a Key for decoding.
Q referred to Keys and keystones early on.
