In a year where the Flu has already proven to be particularly bad and has already killed many
- They are saying the Flu shot this year [2017-18] is not very effective.
First I heard it was only 10% effective but you should get it anyway - That sounded like a joke - 10% effective is not effective!
But purveyors of modern medicine will not be daunted - So then it became 30% effective [Latest Canada reports 10-20% effective], but you should get
it anyway they say becuase it will produce a less serious disease scenario should you catch it.
Really? can they prove this? What evidence do they have?
I'm not against vaccines and am willing to take the minimal risk of side effects - But when drug companies are pushing something
and saying it is not very effective, I see a red flag.
If a 'not very effective' vaccine is injected into someones body - I keep thinking - could we be actually worsening both the chances
of catching the disiesas - And in fact worsening the effects?
To me a vaccine should work and be most often effetive - Or it is defective - What happens when you are injected with a defective vacine?
I'd appreciate your opinions ATSers, especialy if based upon scientific evidence.
