Debating on ATS is tiresome..

Has anyone defending this veil spent time in a Muslim majority country?
Heck, I’d even accept spending time in one of the [sharia] Muslim municipalities in northern England...

In medicine, you will often see a [seemingly] minor issue...but know, based upon years of practicing the life cycle of the disease before u..
In short, you know how it will go and roughly when and where it will end..

With Islam, this same arc can be identified by those with the experience and sense to understand their cultish nature..

It makes the west as bad as those evil regimes that force women to cover up.
We have to give them the freedom to cover and to not cover up it should always be a personal choice.
I agree it must be taken off at certain places and situations but banning it is not a right move towards personal freedom.

I live near Bradford UK I see them often and work with some girls who wear hijab but they don't wear them at work and they explain it it their choice and more cultural even a fashion statement hearing them all go on about their shopping trips.
I bet you think I can not walk around certain places up here lol.
Ask me anything about living in a Muslim municipalities in northern England... whatever that is lol.

The hijab is a symbol of a political movement based upon a cult masquerading as a religion...

Islam, at its very core, is a political doctrine whose core tenants subjugate women and criminalize everything from homosexuality to Christianity....

Denmark is simply outlawing a symbol of this retrograde ideology...
It’s tantamount to disallowing flags with a swastika or the rising sun of Japan...

How anyone with eyes cannot see this truth is beyond me...

It wont happen. Denmark markets itself on its open-mindedness.

Hell, next they will have to ban fastelavn, halloween, Santa clause & the easter bunny!

All thou i agree, the burka is too much. They will have to bend the law a great deal to implement this.

The government shouldn’t tell you what you can or cannot wear, or can or cannot say.

A business should be allowed to say no head coverings or face coverings, or that everyone that comes in must have a head or face covering.

Just like no hats in some places

I've spoken to women in Niqabs, they're usually pretty cool. I think the Danish government in this case are deflecting the problems with integration onto the women. It's not the women causing the problems...

Not my experience with muslims around here.
Most just like any religious group around here and we have many just want the same things as everyone else.
Bring up their kids safe.
Be free to follow their religion their own way.
For Yorkshire to beat Lancashire in the cricket.
I have good pals who are muslim and they are not bad they don't follow their religion all the time and can take critisism and debate what they follow.
The trouble we get up here all just stems from poverty and no prospects for many young lads.

As a Dane myself, i think this is ridicolous. How can we say that we are a free society, if there is so many laws telling us what we cant do? We have had absolutely NO problems at all, with people wearing burqa or niqab, so iam not sure what this law should accomplish? Other than spread more hate and division between people.

We have problems with refuges and immigrants, joining gangs and not being intergrated properly into our society. But they do absolutely NOTHING about that, they deport immigrants, studying with straight A´s and with a real commitment to our society, but gangster families with NO respect for our society and with ongoing criminal behavior, we cant deport because of human rigths... we danes are apparently not humans, and have no rights...

This law is nothing more than an attempt to please the people and get some more votes at the next election
Our goverment, just like everybody else´s goverment, sucks big time!

It breaks my heart how Europe’s High West was once populated with men like Charles Martel…
Now y’all are a bunch of liberals who would rather see yourselves subjugated to cultists who worship a pedophile who heard voices from a magic man in the sky than defend their high society of the west…

You obviosly dont know much about who we are as people and what we believe in, dont believe everything you see on youre tv!

You want to make it illegal to believe in the muslim faith? As far as iam concerned, it is no crazier than believing in christianity or being a jew or whatever religion you believe in.
My neighbour, is crazy like hell! i mean, he does some real weird stuff, and act like someone from outer space! But he doesnt harm anyone, or does anything to annoy you, he is just a little bit out there. Now, he dont believe in any religions, and he is danish all the way, should we ban his believes too? Doesnt seem very danish to me, but how would you know?

In fact, should we make it law to only believe what you are told to believe? Cause if that is youre big plan, i might as well move to the middle east, right?

Good thing the American people stands out like a shining beacon, to show us all how we can be "free" people... else i would say youre where a hypocrit!
We are ALL in the same boat, facing the same problems. The TPTB want you to blame everybody else for youre problems, but we are all just pawns in the game, it doesnt matter what crazy belief you have or where youre from!

We believe in freedom, and the right to believe in whatever you want, as long as you follow the rules! Behave and be nice to people, and youre welcome here in our country! It has NOTHING to do with being muslim or whatever.

It is not youre faith we dont like, it is those who comes here and tell US what to do and think, if you think we should all just do as you say, youre not welcome here! If i wanted to live in a country where they tell you what clothing i can or cannot wear, again, i might as well move to the middle east. That is NOT what we want here, and that is why this law is stupid and ignorant of the danish values...

So great if you dont like muslims, what do i care. Just keep it to yourself or stay away from our country, it is as simple as that.

Well that sums up the globalist plans in one paragraph.

Am I the only one enraged by what I've just read?

I agree it does seems to be the plan, but on the other hand, i can believe that our politicans are just that stupid - nothing would suprise me anymore...

What is all this BS "we should be allowed to wear what we want". I could almost guarantee you 100% that everyone on here ,no matter where they are from, has a law that stops them wearing one thing or another. America:- try walking down any city street with full KKK outfit on and see what happens.
Britain:- walk down the street in a nazi uniform on draped in a union jack and see what happens.
I could go on but you get the gist. If you don't then your heads up your a**.

Hello from Denmark..

The latest news in the matter is that its not gong to happen anyway as it looks now.
There are a group of danish politicians that are not going to vote for the new law.

www.b.dk...

Yep... didnt see that coming.

All in all our current government is a joke and is completely affected by being in un-official with the would be racist party DF.
This is just another bead on the string of blackmail politics from politicians who make decisions solely for the purpose of staying in parliament.....

Dont look to Denmark for democracy. Things are getting out of hand over here.

Everyone is free to wear those things though.
Get a right good kicking sometimes but free to wear them. As long as it doesn't harm anyone who cares. You could go the other way and ban bikinis and I'm not standing for that either.

Bradford... “sighs”...

Did some hard nightclubbing there back in the 80s and the ladies were not walking around with sheets on their heads!

Glad I’m in France now.

Many filling stations have signs that ask motorcyclists to remove their helmets when paying for fuel and other products. I have often wondered why the signs don't include hijab wearers. Has anyone ever tried walking through the centre of town wearing a full face balaclava?

It's pretty rare tbh. Most just wear a scarf and like I said it is a cultural fashion thing.
It just bugs me that people like the OP are effectively slagging off my mates, neighbours and work pals because they follow a different religion than him.
Oh and those nightclubs are still dives it's rough.
But like I said poverty is the problem up here.

While people around the western world celebrated World Hijab day, Iranian police are arresting protesters who wish to take their headscarf off.

They should be free to wear it or not wear it.
Do you support us banning it because Iran wants to force people to wear it?.

Know how you feel... one of the reasons I left the UK 27 years ago!

Is Dollars and Dimes nightclub still up and running?
