“Shut it down” - Feed Mysteriously Cut as Trump Delivers Remarks at RNC in DC

Trump was on stage talking at the Winter Meeting of the Republican National Committee tonight. And WaPo had a camera trained on him. Just a typical live stream of a political event while Trump was doing Trumpy stuff. No big deal. News business as usual.

But after a few minutes, the WaPo camera starts to slowly zoom out and fades to black. While this interesting camera work progresses, a voice can be heard calmly and deliberately saying:

“Shut it down. Shut it down.”

The feed goes dark. The WaPo logo appears. And a moment later, we see color test bars from CNN.

Wtf just happened?

Same old drivel about how great he and everything he does is... perhaps they figured it wasn't worth broadcasting.

The audience there appears to be bored out of their minds, so why wouldn't viewers be too?

Mentioned this in another thread, but what I read was CNN Was the feed the pool was using.
When Trump started slagging off CNN they cut him off, thus all others feeding of CNN's feed were cut.

Not sure how true that is, but seemed plausible.

That was so purposeful with the slow draw back and black out, then audible shut it down. What so threatens the WaPo/CIA? oh, its Trump. Thanks for being so obvious WaPo.

I saw it happen... As I remember it, Tucker went right into an interview, like he was expecting it to go dark... Then I went on YouTube, looking for it, and WaPo had it in full... and it was over already... I went to the end, and that’s not how it ended... he finished it pretty normally... I honestly don’t know how fast I found the video, but I thought it was odd... go figure?

He had just finished saying that "Make America Great Again" would always be their (his and the people in the audience who had been with him since the start of his run for President) baby but they have others too, such as "Putting America First." He was in the middle of a sentence that started with ""we're putting America before other countries now" when the camera drew back and it went dark and the feed cut. I didn't hear him say anything about CNN.

And I saw a different speech. GOP retreat. I thought that’s where they were.

Just checked again... one was streamed live 4 hrs ago(RNC winter meeting). The finished one, 13hrs ago (House and Senate R’s retreat)... ? Oh well.
