I highly doubt this is communications with the spirit world. I suspect it's just interference from something else.

I say that from the first initial recording the guy plays, "Chris, I love ya, buddy". The final word, "Buddy" sounds like it was amended in afterwards, like it was cut and pasted into the audio.

I'm not say the guy faked it - what I mean is it sounds like it was disjointed, as though the device was picking up multiple audio streams. Just didn't play smoothly, to me.
