The Justice Department’s internal watchdog has been investigating why ex-FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe apparently sat on his hands for about three weeks after Hillary Clinton’s emails were found on Anthony Weiner’s laptop, a new report said Tuesday.
Inspector General Michael Horowitz wants to know why some top FBI officials appeared less than enthusiastic about probing the emails, which were sent by top Clinton aide Huma Abedin, Weiner’s long-suffering wife, The Washington Post reported.
But pressure on the brass was mounting within the bureau to move on the emails after it was disclosed that McCabe’s wife Jill had received hundreds of thousands of dollars for her Virginia state Senate bid from a PAC connected to then-Gov. Terry McAuliffe, a longtime Clinton crony.

The good news: since she was not charged, there is no double jeopardy to worry about.
That said, in this instance, im not sure prison would be appropriate. If so, then Caspar Weinberger needs to be locked up, too.
But it sounds like McCabe is going to be the sacrificial goat to start the feast. I wonder how many will end up on the altar?

FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe in the days leading up to his forced resignation Monday threatened to “torch” the FBI if he was expelled from his job without full retirement benefits, according to sources with direct knowledge of private conversations McCabe shared with agents.
“He was unglued,” one FBI source said.
“Someone should keep an eye on him.”

Is this thread about when Comey reopened Hillary's criminal investigation, 10 days before the 2016 election, because over 10,000 of e-mails were found on Weiner's laptop?
Comey said it would take a few weeks to read through them. But something like 4 days later, he ONCE AGAIN (under intense pressure from Lynch and Obama) cleared Hillary of wrongdoing?
The 302 form contains information from the notes an FBI agent takes during an interview of a subject. It is used by FBI agents to "report or summarize the interviews that they conduct."
"So basically every time an FBI agent interviews a witness, they have to go back and file a report," Carter explained. Hannity pointed out that, if true, it would constitute a case of obstruction of justice, and Carter agreed.
She said the matter was being investigated by FBI Inspector General Michael Horowitz.

Only a few fish bigger than him, Obama, Comey or Hillary.
Tough choices, I hope he starts with Hillary, maybe the rest would fall?

FBI agents in New York expected Strzok through McCabe and then-FBI Director James Comey would seek a warrant so that the evidence found by FBI agents in Manhattan could be reviewed to potentially re-opend the Clinton email probe. But FBI agents in New York heard nothing for 15 days about any warrant which would have to be filed through the U.S. District Court in the southern district on New York because the FBI’s M
anhattan office had physical control of the Weiner laptop in evidence, which was used in Weiner’s teen sexting case. The FBI had the laptop but Washington D.C. brass at FBI HQ had to file for a warrant to be able to legally use the emails of Hillary and Huma as evidence.
But again, nothing happened for 15 days after McCabe and Strzok were briefed by FBI agents in New York. Well, almost nothing. Hours after the FBI found classified Hillary Clinton emails on Weiner’s laptop, the wife of the FBI agent running the high-profile probe was promoted to a powerful position in the Securities and Exchange Commission, FBI sources said.

Very valid point however statue of limitations are approaching. However with all these recent developments I’m sure the DOJ can come with other charges...I don’t know say obstruction.
