I just want to see a professor institute flag prayers daily. Hang a flag at the front of the class and tell everyone to kneel on the floor and pray towards the flag. It's weird how the only thing they tend to do with the flag is deface or disrespect it. Take it the opposite direction.

Nothing to see here. Seems like OP is fishing for people to get mad about something. Sorry. Really don't care. People are allowed to do this.

As long as it isn't someone elses personal property, the dumb college professor is free to do as he pleases.

It'd be much cooler if they did the official flag salute used in the 1930's.

If it is considered an Art exhibit, why was it not properly exhibited? Why was it simply tossed in the entry? Most art exhibits I have been in have the art labelled with some details.

The USA loo roll is the cheapest tbh not very good but it is made in the states .
You can do what you want with any flag they mean nothing at the end of the day.

It's a #ty art project. What's the point she's trying to prove? That people won't look twice at a piece of white cloth on the ground? I feel like she should have tried this without painting the flag, but my guess is someone would have just picked it up.

Thanks. And, it sure as hell is deeper in meaning than the stunt this "professor" pulled here. At least it has an artistic message other than for shock and self-aggrandizement. Maybe I should apply for a NEA grant to create and display it? It should be good for a few thousands of dollars from them.

How wonderfully ironic. The idea of stepping on the very symbol that has paved the way for such idiocy. The flag is their doormat... saddens my heart.

Cut the flag in half, paint it white

I truly believe some people have lost the plot. Who gives a toss about a professor attempting satire, or art, or whatever. At this rate someone will burn me in my stars-and-stripes socks my bro sent me for Christmas. Oh, Lordie, what a pointless waste of time. Some people want the "flag" to be some holy thing, where people die for looking at it wrong, like a Quran, or get lynched for satirical drawings, like a cartoon of you-know-who.
