Yes, because POTUS knows for certain it is a witch-hunt. Since the preponderance of evidence suggests ZERO Trump involvement, it is perfectly
reasonable.
Again, "norms" are just that... norms. They aren't laws. They aren't set in stone. Legally Trump
is the Justice Department, and the authority
of federal level law enforcement is derived directly from Presidential authority and EO. Trump can establish priorities for enforcement, hire/fire at
his discretion and even close the entire FBI/DOJ (or any executive agency) if he so decided. That is solely at POTUS's discretion.
Can't hold it against the President for exercising legal authority. Once THE MEMO comes out, I believe Muellertime will be over. He can either present
his evidence (which I'm betting he has none-hence the
REQUEST for an interview) or admit he has nothing and that this entire thing is based on
BS Democrat lies, fake outrage and misinformation. If he has something, lets see it. Otherwise, Trump's already been cleared (aka no evidence) by an
FBI investigation during the campaign when the BS allegations/rumors first started flying.
(nevermind the fact that FBI/DOJ has never even actually looked at the DNC's servers, so how would they know who was really responsible?)
This is a house of cards, built on a pile of sh## based on a very sour/bitter and very angry Hillary Clinton/her sycophants. Don't know what to tell
you Hillary, should've been a moderate like your husband instead of pandering to the extreme far-left. That won't win elections🤢
