There are only three important factors in a marketing strategy. Branding, branding, and branding. All people need to see is the company name on a cool product product. Build it and "they" -- the VC's, the IPO buy-ins and such -- will come!

Elon Musk is a genius -- including a marketing genius -- in ways most folks won't recognize. His long game is at issue, and looking at this stunt I'd say his legacy will absorb and crap out Steve Jobs' like so much organic kale salad.

In WWII you were assigned flamethrower guy, like you were assigned to rifleman or BAR .

They knew the Japanese would single them out, thats why you stayed far away if you could. In the above footage you see rifleman accompanying them in trenches, that was to protect Flamethrower dude.
