Fair enough... let me be more specific. The thread is about Q, not Q's supporters.

Do not tell me who Q's supporters are or what they are or how they are or anything else.

Do tell me instead who you think Q is targeting and why Q is targeting those people and how he is targeting those people, etc.

Every good conman knows that you have to give enough truth to gain the mark's trust. Even better if you can set things up in such a way that the mark thinks they figured it out all by themselves, or that they are smarter than the average bear........Lots of ego stroking by the conman helps this along. It also personally involves the mark in the con to the extent that they "own" the con and have an emotional interest in defending and protecting the con.... and the conman.

It may be just as simple as the Trump admin having it's own troll farms... if Donald Trump called on PR people he's known since his days in television to create and man something like this Q phenomenon, as a way to keep his base energized.

I hadn't thought of it from that angle, but I don't see any reason why it couldn't be Trump himself. And it may be just as much (if not more) for spooking and intimidating his adversaries... keeping them looking over their shoulders and jumping at shadows... off their game...

It feels a lot more "spooky" than just internet trolls. The direst prediction as to who or what Q is in my opinion, is that they are part of Trumps own private intelligence and military apparatus that he is secretly building outside of the United States government.

I hope that isn't what it is, because the implications are so dark.

It's good to know I'm not the only one getting a creepy vibe from Q.

It's nice to be able to discuss this without the vitriol of the "true believers" flying at you left and right, and that's the value of having a separate thread like this apart from the other ones. We can actually have a level headed conversation.

That others would only want Q being discussed in those two megathreads is telling.

Been following this Q narrative from a speculative point. Interesting yet could be scary. First the future does not predict the past, past predicts future. This has been done before and the results have not been peaceful. This was the technique employed by intelligensia in France instead of the Internet it was pamphlets and pg stuff against the Royal family. Of course the crown tried desperately to censor it and the more they did like Marquis De Sade the more they believed it. Until women bakers were chopping up the elites in their chateaus. To overthrow the old order it is usually through violence. Most of us don’t like the BS that the status quo has created for itself. Congress is suppose to work for us “we the people”. They don’t. Everyone of them are millionaires and insulated. Slush funds for sex crimes. Crazy. Yet this Q dude did say “be careful what u wish for”. Be careful out there it is 100% pyschop.

I don't think Q's aimed audience is the mass. I believe Q's purpose is specifically to keep the focus of conspiracy theorists on him. If so, it's probably because the informations they don't want us to know is already out there, waiting to be found. But instead, we are looking at Q and the USA corruption. Hmmmm... that's certainly possible. I have also wondered if perhaps Q's main purpose is to distract the bad guys, to keep them on guard (or perhaps off guard?), a sort of psyops against the enemy via supporters.

One of the best and balanced arguments I have ever seen posted on ATS. You touched on things that I think many members and readers are thinking. I'm in the hope camp, I hope it will be but I too have my reservations. I like being proven wrong though so there is that.

I often wonder if Q could be Peter Thiel, that was Trumps Geek man during the campaign.

Either way, Q's story is a good one

I am still on the fence with Q. I cannot help but speculate that there is a definite divide between government agencies. I keep leaning towards Q being a creation of NSA and MI. Having that thought makes me more cautious.

Q reminds me of an illusionist who distracts you with smoke and mirrors. Why would this be wanted or needed? What is the reality? Obviously, things are happening behind the scenes. While it may seem to headed to draining the swamp...perhaps it is actually establishing a new order that will be far from beneficial for We The People.

I really don't know...but I am beginning to feel uneasy with Q. I will and can only hope that my anxiety will be proven wrong.

Right? If Q and/or events prove me wrong, I will happily be that person who has to hang her head in shame and say, "I was wrong about Q!!!" I'll even post a thread about it. But I don't want to be that person that let's hope get in the way of truth.
