HE was arrested 4 pm Friday. No details are being released about charges or the investigation.

I haven't left this thread since Friday so I don't know if ATS is discussing this or not.

This topic has floated around in here from time to time, so I grabbed a quick pic when I noticed this headline on the Enquirer at the grocery store this morning.

I know it's the Enquirer, but they've broken some stories in the past (John Edwards for one), so I thought maybe I'd pass this headline along.

Yes, but the endless headlines about how everyone hates the Patriots is a bit over the top. They've even had polls about how only 18% of Americans like them.

They've published the photo of Brady kissing his kid and insinuated he's a pedo.

Lots of things about how weird Brady is ...

They're really pulling out all the stops.

Then you have the headlines about how Foles is going to become a pastor when he's done playing for the Eagles ...

It's a bit overboard.

Could be a prank, of course, but thought you'd all be interested...

Eh, I am likely looking at digging something out of my movie cabinet.

I have zero interest in the Super Bowl this year. It won't be on unless husband decides he wants any kind of football on in the background just to have something on.

Kinda like they do with Trump isn't? I shamefully admit to being a browns fan (with a bag on my head) so my dislike of Patriots is easy to come by.

But I agree...all the negative press is quite unusual for the Patriots under normal conditions.

Yes RadRob I agree. Security should be insane for this game and its all about timing and making sure people don't have extra reasons to complain. That all reflects off the NFL and the state of Minnesota who has been waiting for this opportunity (new stadium). I would expect people to wait at least an hour (up to 2) in line just to get into the stadium. Anything less and I would be concerned.

Maybe I am just hopeful but I really see no chance of anything bad happening. The NFL is too important money-wise to so many different people and this golden goose would be an untouchable in my opinion.

Go Eagles! I really don't care who wins as long as its exciting and close and above all, safe for everyone.
