Some Guest Reviews of "Standard Hotel West Hollywood"

Everything about this hotel is just wrong. Even the hallways look like something out of a 1980's drug porn movie.

The smell was that bad the we found it difficult to breathe. The rooms also had pictures and phrases linked to what seemed like it was not appropriate for children. Seemed like a porn hotel. This should be stated on reviews for families as I found this very offensive and felt like I was in the wrong hotel.

The hotel rooms and corridors smelled really bad of weed, we had to change room 3 times

Not a family hotel so don't bring kids here because the hotel room key says "Slip it in" and the thermostat if you wanna call it that has one temp setting I think and you can only change the fan speed and at the top of the conrtol it says "BLOW" with the settings being "Stop", "Harder" or "Hard" so if you want to explain to your kids why the thermostat says BLOW HARDER and what that means I suggest you avoid this hotel!

Only good for party weekends and drug users

This hotel is filled with the losers of LA looking for a better job. It tries too hard to be trendy, but ultimately creates an uncomfortable and shockingly repulsive atmosphere.

Staff appears to have no interest whatsoever

! I was so disappointed when we got to our room...it had a very bad stench to it...the interior was awful! Looked cheap

I didn't read any further, there appear to be hundreds of reviews like this.

Telltale signs that the main "Business" of the Hotel may not be the Hotel itself.

There were also reports that the spying included Supreme Court members as well. Can't recall right off the source, could have been the Montgomery stuff. It was even suggested at one time that someone had leverage over some of the members due to this spy network.

When it went in the name and the signage was upside down and it appears that it still is, though a different sign. Typically a very bad move unless you are pretty much sure you are not going to hurt for guests...

When I typed "Standard Hotel, West Hollywood" into "News Search, this came up:

"More than 500 arrested in Sex-Traffic sting operation also involving pedos".

The article itself does not mention the Hotel. Perhaps it did at one time, as it shows in Google Search.

i was mistaken this was not the first post. the poster has been a member since 2017 but never made a thread. The little i checked was consistent including mentioning the IC as tho they were a member.
