Most of the trading platforms will pay you $200 to open an account that can trade GBTC and other bitcoin ETF instantly.
Regulated but quotes are updated at 5 minute intervals though.
I sold at 2000 and won't look at it again till bitcoin which supposedly it is tied too goes above 14489.

$GBTC started out and is still listed as a penny stock.

True story.

Boy I wish I'd heard of it a year ago.

Ummm...does anyone use coinbase...?

I've been trying to buy from their android app but it seems stuck in a verification loop...Very frustrating...

Is there a better method than this understaffed and over hyped app...?

YouSir

I use coinbase buy eth-lite. They have very poor customer service because they are so understaffed. If you make a ticket have fun waiting for 3 weeks for a tech to get back with you.

Perhaps use a laptop?

Ummm...I just put in a ticket...hell it took them five days to send to my checking account...

I guess I'll have to continue trying to finish verification on my laptop or the imac once I get home...

Thanks Guys...

Yes they are slow....

I had to re-verify my account to move litecoin, and it took them 2 weeks to say they got the ticket. Another week to tell me to re-verify.
It took 10 minutes to re-verify, and I still don't understand why after using the site many times. Oh well, such is the way of life.

Not only are they slow, their verification process sucks. I've taken countless pictures of my driver's licence and it always fails to validate. I've long since given up. Crap service if you ask me.

I didn't have any issues with the info that they wanted, and it was more than I thought they would have needed. I did have real problems with Kraken and had to abort, they would not take a pic, similar to what you are describing with Coinbase.

Had no verification issues with Coinbase. Poloneix on the other hand....I'm still trying to get a pic to work, vs. too blurry, etc. LOL.
I never got completely verified on Binance...the China policy towards domestic exchanges (and the fact they are China based), is a little worrisome.... Not gonna lie.

Ended up with a digital Ripple wallet, and bought my initial through Evercoin, but the reserve and fees were a bit more than I really wanted to spend. Now, it's worth 40 cents less each than what I bought into it at ($2 each), so just hoping it rises. For any more Ripple, I'll get it through Poly once I'm up and running with them. I do think it has a very bright future, and the potential to go to $100 or more by year end, if it gets the right buy-in....

I even scanned my DL and uploaded the files. Then it wants to take a pic of me. Could it be they're trying to match my webcam pic with the DL pic? I've aged since.

Oddly, I agree, even though these statements seem contradictory at first.

I do think they are in a holding pattern, due to all external forces.

However, your second part here....implies that whales will make moves to shake up the market for a profit rather than let it stagnate. Let's face it, the EASIEST move to make here, is to sell, then crash the market by some more fear mongering, buy it cheap, then drive it up again, rinse and repeat. So, if we see it, and pay attention to it, we too could benefit from it, if we time it right.

No selling on this end. Been through ups and downs over the years. Good time to buy though.

Good question. There is a reason they want both pics. I imagine you will have to file a service ticket to see what is up or go to another exchange.

How much research did you do before you decided on XRP?

Well, just decided to get it as one of many. But basically, a lot of it started from discussion here at ATS, then, I read some provided links, and really learned about WHAT they were doing and HOW, and that's where it got pretty exciting. I spent about a week really looking at different sources and what they had to say on it....especially since a lot of exchanges were down at the time, so it wasn't easy to find a way to buy it a few days back. I do think it will take time though, for it to really soar...but hopefully, by year end, it will pay off.

It's all a gamble though...no matter how much you look into it. Stellar is quickly becoming my next favorite as well, so have to get into that one.

Appear to be holding pretty steady so far. Bitcoin just under 12K, most others pretty much where they have been post recuperating after the crash.....

Yeah, me too, lol. Well, South Korea has been quiet for a couple days, so they are about due to talk about banning it again!!!

Wish I would have bought it when it was at 90 something cents. My buy point was at 75 cents, but never got that low.
