My melatonin and medical weed can help me sleep. My problem is that I come alive more at night and don't want to sleep at a normal hour. I usually wait too long to take the melatonin and stuff.

I’m somewhat terrified of what the future will hold..... but then I think that perhaps it will be so much more better for humanity, and not the Terminator future I fear.

What gets me is that I am a believer in God,-and I wonder how a “Creator” would coexist with “synthetic” life? Will they have a soul? I think so, but my belief system is currently undergoing a massive paradigm shift, one that has fewer constraints and walls.

I believe in a God or Higher Power or whatever people wish to call it. As for the future, none of us know for sure what will happen. People can raise their children with much love and compassion, morals and nurturing. They are our future. In the meantime, we can hold on to each other while we travel our journey and our lives unfold. We can spread our light and like a ripple, it will go forth and like a beacon in the night, it can help show the way.

With all due respect dear Night, I am of much different mindset when it comes to higher powers. All angels have higher powers than us humans, and Lucifer himself is known as the angel of light, or wishes himself to appear so. The Holy Trinity is the ONE God I do believe in, and it is through His grace only that we will be granted eternal life.

God wants humility from us and gratitude for the suffering He went through to save us from our miserable sinful ways. Once we start thinking we have some great gift to give others, simply on merit or belief, I fear we have fallen for the dark deception that we could possibly be our own saviours as well as saviour to others.

That being said, it’s obvious I am a Christian ( not always a great one, but always seeking his grace). That may not be popular in the Shed.. but I have to be honest.

I can respect others think and feel differently than I do, but I do feel the need to voice my opinion as well. The Sacred heart of Christ asks that I do that in His name.

I’ll probably get a lot of heat for this post.. but I amz what I amz and that is all that I am.😜

You won't get any heat about this. Some have a belief system or path that they follow, some have none at all. All I know is that the people of the Shed have hearts wide open and are filled with love, compassion, kindness, inspiration etc. and that is good enough for me.


I was raised Catholic and went to a Catholic school during some of my childhood years. I have read about various religions and paths, a little here and there and... I don't feel completely comfortable with claiming any one of them as THE right one. Just my opinion.

Once we start thinking we have some great gift to give others, simply on merit or belief, I fear we have fallen for the dark deception that we could possibly be our own saviours as well as saviour to others.

People do have great gifts to share with others, such as the gift of comfort and hope.

We all have many gifts to share with each other, such as hope, love, courage, etc. I’m not disputing that .. more disputing the source of those gifts.

Despite many different beliefs that Sheddites may have, I do love you all, and cherish your friendships.

The underlying question is "what defines life."

The harder question is "What defines 'God' or 'a God'

One answer is that God is one who has the power to create life ... or rather ... to create a functioning receptacle for a soul.

There is little difference between us and say an android.

The more and more we get into robots, the more we understand how complex our bodies are. We are even self replicating and self repairing. Pretty good model.

God will return when we get close enough to creating life ourselves ... and we are close!

I just ordered a 14 Pc wing and a chicken Parmesan sandwchidn from dominos thirty minutes before they close. I offered a $7 dollar tip since they close in seven minutes. The person who onocks on my door will get a ten dollar tip. Because I’ve been drinking and don’t want a dui.

I think tipping delivery people is a great way to be charitable. They often don’t make much in wages, and that extra bit is what makes the job worthwhile. Good on ya for making their night.
