I found a beautiful piece of native American pottery, a vase with wolves painted on it. Two dollars!!!!!!! YES, quite the bargain! Thank you for your kind words! You are inspiring as well.



I have my medical weed I just smoked so if make typing errors, you'll know why. It does help my chronic pain.

I was just losing myself in all types of music tonight.

Though my heart is heavy for so many who are struggling through things right now, myself included, it is like a breath of fresh air knowing that none of us are ever truly alone and that we can keep helping each other to push through.


I find that even if I don't feel chatty, I come in here and try to leave something inspiring like a pic or music, maybe even something funny. Sometimes my words are few but comes from the very depth of my heart.

I am always here checking in. Sometimes I just sprinkle stars and come back later to reply, but I am always here watching over everyone, praying to whatever powers that be and then silently step away only to return again.

Whatever you are doing for the next hour....
It will be made much better by playing this music in the background. (Trust me!)

Thank you for the music Gordi! Inspiring for writing yet I can't seem to write lately. Miss our little story lines in here.

He tried his best. Instead of playing drums he played music a week long just to spite me. So loud you could hear it 20 metes/yards away down the hall. (ETA My room is right next door to his, just to be clear) I stayed cool but it wasn't easy. Then the miserable excuse for a human called the police on me at half past midnight complaining about my noise (none). The police left quickly after informing me that they couldn't hear a thing while stood outside my door. Wasting police time. The next day he played his music again and the day after that.

I could literally have thrown him in a meat grinder. Instead I mailed the rental company and told them everything. They sent a mail threatening to expel people from the building and after that the noise stopped. The rental company often doesn't take sides and may throw us both out just to be sure.

Stress levels through the roof, appetite gone, sit all day in my room waiting for "the next thing" and drink way too much as an ineffective but somewhat passable coping mechanism.

Didn't feel much like posting, but now you know.

Having a neighbor from hell can be so very frustrating. You went through the proper channels at least to try and rectify the problems. Hopefully they will see that your neighbor is at fault and evict him. I'm sure the police don't appreciate wasting their time showing up at your door when there is no reason to every time your neighbor complains.

Too bad our dragons can't get through to our realm of reality and give us a hand now and then. I could always send my Elven Brothers and Sisters, but I don't think people would appreciate seeing beings with pointy ears and bows and arrows waltzing through the building.

The only other option I could see was me eventually getting physical. That would mean me becoming homeless, possibly having a broken bone or two in my fist and losing all my possessions. (I've never had to get physical with anyone in all my life. I try to talk and solve things like an adult or avoid the situation completely)

Your situation just seems to escalate into more insanity. It is intolerable when we have to subject ourselves to the cruelty and insensitivity of others when we are stripped of our dignity and a course of action that could eliminate the problem. When logic and normal interaction have been eradicated.

This is a scenario that creates violence because, you the victim, is cornered no matter what you do.

I know all the stupid rules, think positive, you attract what you put out, be happy, etc. etc. I, and I take full responsibility for this statement and it may only pertain to me, but, I think it is the worst bunch of crap ever verbalized.
It puts all the responsibility on the victim, blaming them for attracting the perpetrator or the storm or disaster, etc.
It leaves the victim guilt ridden.
It is the equivalent to blaming some one for not getting well because they were given the placebo pill.

So I am not going to say, try to understand this person, that process comes later when you are "apart" from this situation.
I will say, please don't act on your "inclinations" , and my prayers and heart go out to you.
I know what being powerless can turn a person into, it isn't pretty and can ruin your life. Been there.

I know how to drop down to uploads
Know how to hit the upload cloud where I’m given three options to choose from. It won’t take my photos ecause they are jpeg... but if I take a photo they upload as jpg.. which worked 3 times. Then it didn’t 🤨.

I downloaded a file converter, but how do you transfer the result into the upload options?
I can feel people laughing at me as I write this 😕😒😉

I did a network settings change at some point on my phone , and I uploaded one more photo successfully.. then it wouldn’t work anymore.
It may be my phone WIS. All the pics are the same size (need to learn how to resize).. so size shouldn’t be an issue.

Remember , I’m on the mobile version of ATS 😁

I feel the same way Wister! Sometimes there are outside influences in our lives where we have no control or little control over that affects our lives. I just say to raise our swords high and fight our way through as best we can. Together, side by side with our love, compassion and friendship, we can at least know that we are not so alone and always have people here who will offer a hand to hold or a ready hug at all times. It does make a difference.

No way! I'm not techy savvy either and had to learn things from younger folks or once in a while be brave and try something on my own. That sometimes ended well and other times it didn't. lol

People here are so patient and kind. You'll get the help you need, I'm sure.
