Why I Believe Women Should Cover Up More!

I just recently left the artic east coast where its winter, and everybody naturally wears layers of clothing, to the tropics, and seeing females in bikini's everywhere and purposely accentuating their sexual parts is a massive sensory overload. 

Immediately this biblical quote comes to mind: "But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart." (Matthew 5:28) 

I whole heartedly believe in the truthfulness in that quote, as everything in existence started out firstly as a thought ("everything is mental" is a hermetic principle) . Before a killer kills somebody, he thinks about doing it. In fact, everything around you and the current state of your life is a result of your thoughts; conscious or subconscious. If your looking at a girl in a bikini and are thinking dirty thoughts, you already committed that sin in the Creators eyes, as you planted the seeds for that action to manifest in the future. 

Now females, you are not making it any easier for us by wearing such provocative clothing! Ultimately, yes its the mans fault for having dirty thoughts, and if he actually acts on those thoughts; I am not putting all the blame on the female.

But, let me give you an analogy; if you place a heroin addict in an environment that flaunts heroin like its the cool thing, and even stick it in front of his face, and he finally caves in and uses, is it 100% his fault, or should the people around him face come accountability as well? Well, females, unfortunately many males can be likened to heroin addicts when it comes to sex! Many males (about 85%) are sex fiends of varying degree. Only a small amount of males can say that they can look at an attractive women and not think about sex, and see her for the amazing human that she is. 

So, if 85% of the male population thinks with his genitals first and his brain second, and you put this male population around gorgeous females with breasts and butts showing like its cool, no wonder there is so much sexual assault and harassing in our society! It's those dark, lustful, perverted thoughts materializing.To top it off, when the half naked female does get approached by a degenerate, she looks at him like he has three heads, but she's partly responsible for his degenerateness!

To make matters worse, we are dressing our 12 year old daughters in bikini's; you don't know what sick perverted individual maybe be checking her out. 

This is what I'm getting at. I'm not saying we should start dressing like the Muslim women as that's the other end of the extreme spectrum (no disrespect intended towards the Muslim culture), but what I am saying is that Females need to start rising up and realizing that their provocative dress code is hurting both genders and causing men to have lustful thoughts! Men, as difficult as it may be, we must transmute those lustful thoughts and start looking at females as if they were our daughters and mothers. Only then will we transcend as a society. 

Again, I'm not pointing the finger at any one gender as both genders need to play their parts, but this message is aimed at the females, as this one crucial yet simple change in wearing more clothing when out in public can cause a domino effect in the behavior of both genders. The private, erotic body parts should be reserved only for your mate, not to the public at large. 

Just felt like getting that off my chest, feel free to debate! Remember we can agree to disagree!

This a thought provoking issue you've brought up. I wonder, should men also cover themselves up in hot climates? Is it OK for men to show their breasts but not women?

Hmmmm. As a woman, not entirely disagreeing with you concerning men's sex drive, which seems to go on until the day they die, but you quoted a percentage, without qualifying it as either your own guess, or a scientific proven amount. Just a minor aside.

Now, on to your main point.....where do you live where all you see are women with their merchandise put in the window on display? If it's hot outside (as it often is in the south, from California to Florida), we're going to wear shorts and tank tops. If your eyes are popping out of your head, who's fault is that? YOURS. Yes, some chicks like to dress in ways that leave nothing to the imagination, but I don't see it much where I live.

If you're hanging out at a beach or lake, ladies will be in bathing suits. If you're skulking around a bar, there will be hoes. You don't say where you're at. If you watch TV, then yeah....Hollywood will flap those in your face because they know you'll watch.

It's more situational, IMO.

I'm pretty sure that God will forgive you if you're getting randy over lustful thoughts. It's how we're made. If you're getting all rapey, though....you may want to seek mental health help.

Try not sexualize women in that way and you should be fine.

My philosophy has always been that if you want to dress provocatively then I don't have a problem with it. But don't have a problem with me not having a problem with it.

I hope that this thread can remain civil because it is definitely one of those threads that has the potential to bring out the worse in some of us on this forum.

I am a woman and I agree with you. Being eligible for Medicare and AARP means that I have been around for a while. I was among the generation that started the raising of the hem lines and the public wearing of pants on women, and yes I was even part of the "We wear short shorts" crowd. Even the nuns shortened their habits and we took off our Mantillas when going to church.

At the time we thought we were liberating ourselves. We thought that we were taking control of our lives and that we would be respected and accepted, but looking back, I think we made some serious mistakes.

This is just my opinion.
