WASHINGTON — For much of the summer, the F.B.I. pursued a widening investigation into a Russian role in the American presidential campaign. Agents scrutinized advisers close to Donald J. Trump, looked for financial connections with Russian financial figures, searched for those involved in hacking the computers of Democrats, and even chased a lead — which they ultimately came to doubt — about a possible secret channel of email communication from the Trump Organization to a Russian bank.
Law enforcement officials say that none of the investigations so far have found any conclusive or direct link between Mr. Trump and the Russian government. And even the hacking into Democratic emails, F.B.I. and intelligence officials now believe, was aimed at disrupting the presidential election rather than electing Mr. Trump.
Hillary Clinton’s supporters, angry over what they regard as a lack of scrutiny of Mr. Trump by law enforcement officials, pushed for these investigations. In recent days they have also demanded that James B. Comey, the director of the F.B.I., discuss them publicly, as he did last week when he announced that a new batch of emails possibly connected to Mrs. Clinton had been discovered.
I'd be good if Russia didn't, but if they did, then we really should do something to make sure they can't again. For me, it's that simple.

Good lord Burns, we get it. You like Trump.
Seriously, you keep posting this bullcrap that nobody knows about because, guess what, the investigation isn't going to reveal anything until it's done. So, just like liberals claiming "Trumps going to jail!" saying "disproven" or "discredited" every time you mention the dossier is ignorant. Some of the things in the dossier have panned out, and some have been unverified. Until the investigation is done nobody knows one way or another, but your constant attempts at narrative shaping are getting tiresome.

I sold my house in the summer on 16 thinking Clinton wad going to win.
I had to deal with a lot of people, who do a lot of group thinking.

So the USA interferes with many elections around the world, sometimes bombing people into submission because they don't like the current government.
But hey, Russia isn't allowed to play some adverts.
I really do despise the level of hypocrisy shown by the US and its citizens.

They were both the bottom of the barrel in the popular vote, are you saying that you only voted for Trump because there was no decent choice, or that he's the kiddie despite being bottom of the barrel, you seem confused...with all those people doing group thinking and,why would you sell your house?

If Russia interfered with the election, with or without Trump and his guy's help, I'd REALLY like to know. Not as a Democrat or Republican, but as an American. I'd be good if Russia didn't, but if they did, then we really should do something to make sure they can't again. For me, it's that simple.
Let Mueller do his job, please. I will be good if Trump ISN'T involved. I'd rather that. But if not, let the chips fall where they may.
What is everyone afraid of?

I like the Russians (well, some of them I suppose) but I personally voted for Trump because of his position on the issues.
The so-called "cult of personality" that goes with any politician (and especially Trump) was kind of fun over the Summer, but in the end my vote came down to: 1) Gun rights, 2) Infrastructure rebuilding, 3) Stamping out major corruption in government, 4) Reducing the size, influence and impact of the federal government
If a Democratic candidate could've done all 4 of those things for this country, then I'd vote for them as well.
