I would disagree with the Op's assessment about Trump. However there is one good thing that I believe is going to come out of all of this and that is:

More people are actually starting to wake up and get involved in the political process and actually vote. When you consider that during the 2016 presidential Election, 47% of those who could vote, did not, perhaps we were ripe for a politician just like Trump, who was not qualified to be in public office, to be in Public office, and maybe in next time, people will get out and vote and not just stay at home and let someone else decide.

Brit here, the thing that most has me defending the Prez is the absolute blitzkrieg of disinformation, misinformation and lies that are being used by politicians and the media to try to bring him down.

I feel like I am being taken for a fool by these people, and I am nobody's fool. They will learn a valuable lesson before all this is over.

So f#ck the media and the liars, they can go to hell, and I will tell absolutely everybody I hear repeating these idiotic stories just how they are being manipulated.

Call it a goal of mine.

All hail the great one.

I remember the day Trump took back Mosul, I remember the day he wiped out terrorism in the first world, because screw Africa and their concerns, and I remember the day he gave a tax break to the corporate elite because that totally worked in the past and it didn't bite the economy on the @SS in the years to come.

I remember when he bought peace and stability to the Gaza strip, I remember when he stood in the face of a nuclear capable madman, but most importantly I remember when he rescued a kitten from the moon with his rainbow powered jetpack.

I'm not happy about everything he's done but, I agree, he is cleaning up things that needed fixed for a long time. and ( I don't have the statistics) but I do think the world is slowly becoming a safer place.

Where have you been the last year???
On which other world in which other universe, dimension or whatever?

Or is it the glasses, can i have some of these rose- or blue-white-red colored glasses?
I want to see the world too, that got safer under the Trump SA!

Counter question. What has Merkel done for us? Trump at least cares about the american people.

Counter question:
Is this a thread about Merkel or about Trump? Or is whataboutism the last hope if reality hits to hard?

And if you would know what i think about that "U"S puppet Merkel, you wouldn`t have to ask such questions!
I am not a supporter ofr defender of that puppet Merkel! And even i have to admit that Merkel is not trying to turn the world into a pile of ashes. For our luck she has not a Deutschland über alles" mentality, like that "America"(which america, the north?) First mentality. We had Deutschland über alles once and are able to learn, we don´t make the same error two times, that´s something for stupid people, according to Einstein.

You could say that Daesh is nearly beaten(believing the official! statements) DESPITE of Trump aka the "U"SA. That would be better because more real. The creator doesn´t want to see it´s creation destroyed by others! That´s why hospitals, weddings, funerals are whiped out but the Daesh or "IS" or whatever can "flee" everytime, with all it´s equipment. And can´t somehow not be defeated by the worlds greatest, most tremendous and powerful, greater than greatest and preciser than precise military killing machine.

Without being committed to everything he says and does, I get a great sense of pleasure out of the fact that he annoys left-wingers. Always worth doing.

The standard view from the UK is actually that Trump is an unstable, narcissistic, bloviating, sexist, racist, asshat. The OP has, to use American parlance, drunk the coolaid.

Yes, he has. You've drunk the vinegar....

Us brits like our vinigar, especially when served on chips (fries for you funny talking yanks).

Agreed! 'Served on' is a tad different than drinking the stuff, I would point out.....

You have to be one of the few British people to fly the flag for President Trump

Fair enough, that’s your opinion

There are more of us than you think. Britain is craving a populist, nationalist libertarian leader. We all need it because our current government is a joke.

So far he is doing more for his country than airhead Trudeau for Canada!

Ummm...yeah...the "pretty boy" leaders like Trudeau and Macron...sure did turn out to be empty suits...

Electing a leader should never be relegated to a beauty contest...

Well...maybe the pageant's producer...

I second everything you said. I was on campus with a good friend of mine, and he was called a racist and anti-semite for writing a pro-trump expose. Mind you he is Jewish and lost his father in the last round of war in Israel. The division is real, the mere mentioning of Trump makes you a racist, immigrant hater, etc...

I am also a Brit and I agree with the OP, Trump is a breath of fresh air trying to put things right.
He talks straight and we know his views on most things.
Time to undo all the crap that Obama and others have done.
My view on Trump is echoed by about 70% of Brits I know, interestingly people are very clear about him - they either love him or hate him. I don't know anybody who is on the fence about him.
MAGA!

AMEN !

I Would trade Trudeau anytime. The USA, as the admiral ship of the ''free world'' and the spearhead of the western civilisation, seems to be in good hands. Trump isn't crawling before the islamist agenda, nor the globalist one. What a change with the non-significant, non-muslim predecessor. What a revelation compared to what the US could have gotten with the Clintons.

The MSM look like a bunch of morons and show each day they are, complaining about double ice cream cup, high heel shoes for flotus, faux-scandals. Trump's main asset: His opponents believe he is stupid or unfit. Each day he prouves them wrong and attacks against him blow in they face. He is reshapping the US foreign policy brillantly for the best. He is 4 moves ahead the so-called specialists in foreign policies in the MSM.

Pakistan wich provided the know-how of the A-bomb to Rocket Man, and their double play in Afghanistan will be pay back, no more classified and secret intelligence sent there, since the 72 virgins from the muslim brotherhood put in place by Obama in the NSA, or by the Clintons (due to ''security breaches'' or by blackmail with sex scandals) with Abedin or relatives. These days are over.

India will be chosen over Pakistan. The Kashmir revendication by Pakistan is the facto over. USA will play India, and it willl be a best play against China in the future. Obama's islamist submission helped destabilize Phillipines by arming muslim terrosists to the point of crushing 125 years of close strategic relations and Phillipinos were about to allow China to built a military base on their soil....Just one speach about Gen. Pershing and Trump gain back trust. The MSM were ''offended'' not Duterte, and this is what counts. Japan and South Korea felt the were almost left alone against China and Rocket Man, Trump reversed the trend.

Trump will fix the situation with North Korea. Clinton wouldn't have, since it is theirs friends in Ukraine provided Rocket Man with Rocket Technology. The threat would have grown. What if, North Korea sells nukes to Iran, Turkey or anyone ready to pay the price ? Isis is out from Syria and Irak, Obama was unable to fix it (like so many things) and Clinton would have been handtied for reasons mentionned previously.

Trump is not in the guy ''Laissez-Faire'', or everything is ok. He will shape the USA, like his hotels look: top notch, 5 stars, perfect. SO, the libtards and those who owe their job in key positions will have to work, and work hard, not micro-managing crisis like they use to. That's why they are so affraid of Trump.

edit on 6-1-2018 by Wolphus because: speeling correction.

Go strong, President Trump. At least you are real. I can identify with his craziness. Seems the majority of Americans can, too.

You aren't The Donald's British partner in the Scottish Golf Project by any chance, are you?

Trumps a great bloke
Most people I know are totally pro Trump in the UK. Love his no nonsense approach to things. The fact that he is doing what he promised pre election, wow that's so rare for any politician. Trump has a relationship in the building with Russia, excellent....... Sort out a working relationaship between Washington and Moscow and so much can be achieved between the two. Love his tweets, he's ace, wish we had a leader like Trump over here instead of our dithering wimps in power. He's backed Israel over Jerusalem, what a man. Brilliant. Withdrew money from Palestinians, hey those Pals hate the Yanks so why ever give them money in the first place, well done Trump. Building a wall to keep beggers and terrorists out, please can we have one over here. Spoke the TRUTH about Pakistan. Awesome. Go go go Trump, you're a legend in the making.
