The best examination and dissection I’ve seen yet regarding the recent F-18 incident you have all heard about, including an examination of related issues linked to this incident, presented at the Bright Insight YT channel. Seriously a must watch!

I spoke to an ex-military pilot about the declassified video shot from the F-18, he stated that he believes this is just a hoax to help fill someone's pockets. He went a step further and surmised that ALL of the UFO's witnessed by military pilots were hallucinations due to amphetamines that were commonly given to them for long missions. And, any UFO's seen by non-military were definitely secret/experimental craft.

I don't agree with his statements, but he's a good friend and I wonder why he would be so dismissive of the entire phenomenon. I asked him about the "foofighters" that WW2 pilots witnessed, but he had never heard of them and did not seem interested in talking about the topic at all.

I don't believe he believed what he was telling me, I suspect he doesn't want to admit to what he really knows. He's still a pilot and probably doesn't want anyone to think he is a crazy tin-foil hatter like me.

No disrespect but your friend is the product of typical military brainwashing. While this type of indoctrination is useful for creating order obeying fighting soliders, it is also good at instilling fear for going against superior officers and thier ability to ruin lives. Point being your friend would have never reported a sighting because this is what his superior officers have told him saw. And what they tell you you saw is exacly what you saw. No questions asked unless you don't value your family, freedom and paycheck.

Fact is the UFO's are very real. I know many many people some living and some dead ex military who have had their own experiences. Experiences they would have never discussed while in the military. Now what the UFO's actually are they wouldn't speculate only that they saw something they couldn't explain ever with vast hours in the air and years of experience.

I'd like to know that trick of filming your own hallucinations too.

That could be very useful.

To comment on the video.

He does make very valid points even if they are obvious to the more observant reader. He points out the obvious attempt at disclosure even if it is only a glimpse at the knowledge our and others govenments have. Fact is UFO's have been observed and documented in many places outside the US gov. Only the real sheeple need Uncle Sam to convince them UFO's exist.

Real disclosure would be our government telling us everything they know...or don't know.

His reaction is very common. There was a UFO hovering over Ohare Airport. Commuters and travellers saw it clearly, but the pilots and air traffic controllers said that they didn't see a thing.

Is there a pilot, or air traffic control person who is so respected, that when he/she declares that UFO's are seen and tracked freqently, all his/her colleagues will then start sharing their stories?

I watched this the other day. Am I correct in believing that the YouTube poster is ex-army or Marines? I'm sure he has mentioned serving in some of his previous uploads. I actually subscribe to his channel because I find him to be open and not seriously biased to point of lunacy, as some YouTube accounts seem to be.

What happened to the missing four minutes of the UFO clip...is it much the same, or more damning than the evidence of the released version?

The 2004 video of the F-18 chasing the UFO has a very interesting quality about it.

Keep in mind this is IR video; it is not optically captured, and it's not what the pilot and WSO were looking at through the jet's clear bubble canopy. Both the pilot and the WSO were head-down, looking at video on their IR scopes.

The interesting thing about this is the IR image of the UFO in relation to to the HUD symbology that's overlaid on the IR scope by the IR video processor.

The little circle in the center of the HUD is called the flight path marker. This marker represents flight vector--where the nose of the aircraft is pointed. In the background you can see what appear to be clouds and a tilted, moving horizon, meaning the F-18 is in a nose-high attitude, making a smooth left turn.

If you've ever been in a jet and flying in formation or pursuing another aircraft, you know that the physics of flight cause your aircraft and others around you to move around a bit in relation to each other. The UFO they're chasing never changes its relationship to the HUD's flight path marker. The image of the UFO is so stationary in the video that it could be a feature or symbol in the HUD overlay.

How nobody else has brought this up is puzzling to me.

I have more than 15,000 hours in the air as an Air Force flyer. There is no pilot (or autopilot) that is 'good enough' to hold a lock on an airborne target and keep the flight path marker in such perfect alignment with another aircraft, even in perfect flying conditions.

It is obvious to me the UFO in the video is something physical or electronic in or on the jet's IR sensor--or caused by a glitch in the jet's IR video processor.

Not one of my best life decisions but way back in my younger (college) days, I did way more than my share of meth...stayed up as long as 5 days once and never experienced a single hallucination. 'Everyone is different.' applies I guess...js.
