President Donald Trump said Tuesday that his "Nuclear Button" is "much bigger & more powerful" than the one controlled by North Korea's Kim Jong Un.

"Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!" Trump tweeted.

I had to think for a moment about whether this thread belongs in the humor forum or the World War Three forum. I'm pretty sure this is the first time that's happened.

Trump's a funny guy. I have a feeling he'd still be funny after he presses that button. Unfortunately, none of us will probably be able to hear about it at that point. At least Trump and his family would be fine in a DUMB somewhere. They can have a good laugh.

How did the world devolve so fast? This is the stuff of a poorly-written B-movie.

Trumps penis measuring contest with NoKo is pathetic.

There is a time to have a pissing contest, and other times to have a blinking contest, and still there is a time and a place to have a who is bigger contest. However, this is getting down right dangerous, about him having this one up man ship stuff with another country.

This stuff, all of this, is simply going to agitate North Korea where they are going to react. And from the looks of it they are goading the USA and in particular Trump into proverbially throwing the first punch.

Think about it, North Korea, who for all intents and purposes, is at a state of war. And if you also look at this, they are also playing Trump like a fiddle, pushing all of the right buttons to make the man react, and he like a child, keeps playing right into it. Right now, and some will probably disagree, but right now North Korea has won, this round.

What's pathetic is trying to compare a nuke to a #.

The man who loves war is here!

No, what's pathetic is Trump and his attempt at being POTUS. But because he is a Republican you will overlook how stupid this is and support him all the way.

Jong Un might be the only world leader that Trump can compete with as far as penis size goes. Jong Un is a midget Asian and you know the typical stereotype of Asians when it comes to penis size.

Rand Paul nailed the issue a long time ago.

Also comparing the media hurting Trump's feelings to Jesus being crucified. That's pretty pathetic as well.

I see it the exact opposite way.

North Korea offers olive branch to South Korea

NK gets nothing if it nukes someone.

EDIT: ok I've tried 3 links and it's just not working but searching my paraphrased link title works..

If Trump keeps using Twitter as a foreign policy tool and as a tool to ridicule/taunt Kim Jong Un, it's only a matter of time before WW3 begins.

His use of words is getting very dangerous. What's wrong with him? Can't Pence or someone else in the Administration stop him before he gets us into a nuclear war?

Dear leader sure has been busy this year.
He developed a ballistic missle program and built nuclear weapons.
That's what you call the fast track.

He did all that this year right?

Again, Trump displays his ineffectual hunch for foreign policy. At this rate, it's almost a good thing that Kim Jong-un is trying to broker peace with South Korea independently while warding off the US, lol. God knows Trump can't navigate the complexities required of international relations, let alone something as severe as the North/South Korean situation. These types of actions by Trump are only rendering the US' position on the global stage more tenuous.

You lucky you beat me to it, because I was going to put it in the humor forum. This is hilarious, but absolutely true at the same time. Hey, when the man tells the truth, he tells the truth. What can we say?? I still think its freaking hilariously awesome! Now this is how you diplomacy right here. If you ask me, we need more of this.

What are you kidding? Why do you think the North is so eager to talk now? It is thanks to Trump dropping his balls on the table and letting them know whos the boss. They sure had not been so eager in during the reign of Trump's predecessor.
This man gets results, and how!

AntiAntonym,

PLEASE start conducting searches for before starting your threads. Three times in the past 7 days you have duplicated threads that were started BEFORE yours.

Today, this one was started first: www.abovetopsecret.com...

A simple (VERY SIMPLE) search (Trump & nuclear & button) would have demonstrated that your subject was already under discussion.

THANK-YOU.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Go and watch any of Kim Jong-un's previous new year's addresses, and you will find similar calls for peace and talks. This is only different in that Kim is strictly approaching South Korea instead of offering their hand out to the US. Trump has done nothing but aggravate the situation and yet still allows North Korea to possess nuclear weapons and ICBMs. So much for 'getting results'. He just made Kim Jong-un undermine the US' relationship with South Korea. Only the best deals!

He started the weapons testing during Obama's administration, but things were noticeably fast-tracked this year. It's all apart of Kim's byungjin line policy - the simultaneous development of the economy and nuclear weapons. So far, Kim's policies have been extremely effective, despite numerous sanctions. No one - not even Trump - has been able to counter it effectively. Kim's improvement of North Korea's economy in his early years, has provided somewhat of a windfall for this nuclear development.
