At least two demonstrators were reportedly killed during clashes between anti-government protesters and police in Iran on Saturday, during anti-government street protests originally prompted by anger over rising prices and a stagnant economy.
A video posted on social media Saturday purported to show two protesters after they were shot dead by riot police in the western town of Dorud when protests turned increasingly violent Saturday.
A prominent cleric, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, told thousands of pro-government demonstrators in Tehran that “the enemy” wanted to use social media and economic issues to “foment a new sedition.”
In a statement Friday, the U.S. State Department said, “Iran’s leaders have turned a wealthy country with a rich history and culture into an economically depleted rogue state, whose chief exports are violence, bloodshed and chaos.”
The State Department urged “all nations to publicly support the Iranian people and their demands for basic rights and an end to corruption.”
Big protests in Iran. The people are finally getting wise as to how their money and wealth is being stolen and squandered on terrorism. Looks like they will not take it any longer. The USA is watching very closely for human rights violations!
Big protests in the "U"SA. The people are finally getting wise as to how their money and wealth is being stolen and squandered on terrorism. Looks like they will not take it any longer. Iran is watching very closely for human rights violations!
Iran is failing at every level despite the terrible deal made with them by the Obama Administration. The great Iranian people have been repressed for many years. They are hungry for food & for freedom. Along with human rights, the wealth of Iran is being looted. TIME FOR CHANGE! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 1, 2018
Trump has been a sharp critic of Iran and the nuclear deal the country signed in 2015 with the U.S. and other world powers. In Monday's violence, a demonstrator fired a hunting rifle in the central city of Najafabad, killing a policeman, according to police spokesman Saeed Montazer al-Mahdi, who was quoted on state TV. Iran's state media reported the 10 deaths on Sunday, following two on Saturday.

Trumps tweet, is he serious?
Because, it would work also this way around:
Big protests in the "U"SA. The people are finally getting wise as to how their money and wealth is being stolen and squandered on terrorism. Looks like they will not take it any longer. Iran is watching very closely for human rights violations!
Does he really think, as the President of the "United" States, that he is in a position to play the defender of the human rights? That is so ridicolous!
Or are (drone murder-, torture prison-, regime change- bombed hospitals-, bombed weddings- and bombed funerals- etc,)victims of the "U"SA just collateral damage, for the "good thing"? Is that a kind of defending the human rights and the rest of the world is too stupid, again, to understand that Trump is the only one that is ever right?
This Oligarchy, the home of death penalties, worldwide drone murders, worldwide hidden torture prisons, the infamous Gitmo, known to be most addicted to wars, known for unbelievable racism that never stopped, known for megalomania and egoism, will tell anybody on earth something about human rights?
THAT, THAT was a REAL GOOD ONE!
The "U"SA, even worse Potus Trump, defending the human rights is as stupid as hiring a fox to keep the henhouse.
I am sorry, but that guy(and a nation that creates such a Potus) is the biggest joke the earth has ever seen!
Pakistan wasn't the only country in Trump's sight on New Year's Day; half an hour after the Pakistan tweet, Trump took aim at Iran. "Iran is failing at every level despite the terrible deal made with them by the Obama Administration. The great Iranian people have been repressed for many years. They are hungry for food & for freedom. Along with human rights, the wealth of Iran is being looted. TIME FOR CHANGE!" he tweeted.

It's very curious to see how the EU media is reporting on these recent violent events in Iran.
Certainly it looks like there's the hand of the EU intel behind a lot of that chaos, but the curious thing is that at the same time the EU, especially represented by oil companies seem to be sharing intel with Iran in an attempt to protect the regime.
As British imperialist teach ... play on both sides, so you always win ... Right ? Except , maybe not!

Yet American cops, on record, kill about 3 Americans every day. If I had to assume, more Americans have probably been killed by their state thus far in 2018 than the amount in Iran by Iranian authorities.
Which begs the question of why are you more concerned about what happens in a foreign country than your own? If I had to assume an answer, it would be because it is a convenient distraction. This also provides motive for the usual suspects in terms of who is instigating these riots.
