She mainly posts in food threads about recipes or in computer threads asking how to get one more year out of her steam-powered laptop. How can that seem pompous??

Otherwise she's posting PSAs to stop threads being derailed and it's a fine art not to come over as abrupt. PSAs are a necessary evil.
