But with the plastic in the fish and the leed in birds it's obviously our garbage causing it. Human made bad influences.
I get that this alone isn't prove but we humans our wealth has catastrophical consequences on many others, humans and animals and plant and... species. We are obviously causing a lot of death and disturbance on this planet.
What I would like to point out is that burning fuel gives us a lot of particles in the air which normally wouldn't be there. And we know that stuff has impacts on the living things there.
Also not climate.
But the melting icecaps, north and south that is interesting the loss of ice on glacier and in water around them. Because that will be the death Punch and that is an effect of the warming temperature on our most sensitive spot.


If the south pole melts selevel will rise exponentially in shorter and shorter timespans. There is so much water bound it's crazy.
That's maybe something we have to acknowledge is happening globally and start cleaning up our ways. Preparing for seven metres or something, causing maybe the pole to jump, that would be fun, right? Seeing one huge wobble.

Slow down, you are tripping out. There is NO model that predicts anything like the Antartica ice cap melting. Slow down and quit trying to prove something that is fantasy.

I like Climate Change. It's excellent Doom! porn. Even if it's just that. I like talking about it. I like the weather and besides some attacks from some I always learn something. I just like climate and weather.

That is exactly right. We have a lot of issues (like a floating island of plastic crap in the Pacific) that need to be addressed. The problem is that no one gets rich attacking the real problems... they all cost money to clean up. Global warming however... some people can get filthy rich if it becomes a 'thing,' so there is a push to get it accepted.

Sulfur is a huge problem. Lead is overhyped IMHO, but still is a legitimate problem. Rare earth metals in landfills (batteries and gadgets) are a big local issue in quite a few places. CO2? Not an issue.

That used to be the case, mainly from diesel engines. The newer engines have special exhaust systems to filter out and later dispose of those particulates. Think about it... how often do you see streams of black smoke coming from a semi? I'd wager it is rare now, but once it was a constant occurrence.

There are plenty of other reasons to want off fossil fuels, inefficiency and political turmoil being my two main ones. I'll celebrate the day when we have a good, solid alternative power source.

The south pole is not melting. At all. The north pole is, because the Bering current has started warming and it is sending warm water into the arctic circle. I have heard there is a tie between that and volcanic activity in the South Pacific, but I can't say that is true for sure. I am sure that the bitter cold weather we are seeing is a direct correlation to the warming in the Arctic. The Polar Vortexes bringing it south are a direct result of the warming, as is the increased fire problems in California.

Take a deep breath. We might not be all fine, but we're not dying either. There's a lot of very good people trying to work on this stuff and find answers, if we can get the Global Warmists out of the way so they can.

Nothing in nature is static, everything is a cycle. Climate will warm and cool over time that's just how it is. I mean how many ice ages has the earth been through? If you have one extreme expect the opposite extreme.

I am surprised they have held back on the carbon tax. I thought that was going to be the big money maker resulting from climate change. I can see it being a huge profit machine, taxing business that extend outside their designated carbon footprint. This could even hit individuals on their utility consumption, car emissions, products they purchase, even start a new industry of carbon inspection services to estimate and regulate your carbon footprint.

So if you are heavily into global warming....ah....climate change just think about what might the real goal behind it is....Money.....

Al Gore (Captain Planet) never cared about the environment or saving the planet, it's his carbon tax he wanted to get up and running.

you realize the numbers are a huge issue and have been found to be "adjusted" to account for their theory? how many scientists need to be caught red handed tampering with the numbers before people will catch on? atleast in australia they actually made it illegal to do and amazingly the temps dropped 10c on avg even though everyone said it was the same temps outside as it was the days before. or how about that false data that supported sea level rise which was completely false? or how about that professor from uc berkeley who was a proponent of global warming and he himself said the data they had couldnt pass peer review so he was redoing it all.

The glaciers in Iceland are melting ... under those Glaciers, are tropical tree roots. In sweden, there was a tropical forrest there 5000 years ago. Oh, and when people came to Iceland ... it was 4 degrees warmer than now. And this has been confirmed through glacier records in Greenland.

Oh, and a ... the mammuths. They froze while eating ... still with the stuff in their mouth. And no, that couldn't have happened through Noha's flood, because then they'd have rotted ... not frozen over.
