Interesting eh? It is somehow racist that 58% of white people voted for Trump in 2016, but I never hear any complaints that 95% of black people voted for Obama in 2008. Hmmm. If we are to use this rather dubious method to assess racism, then we can say with a good degree of certainty that black people are largely racist. Certainly looking at the chart, I see only one ethnic grouping that exhibits a clear sign of racism when it comes to voting.

There seems to be a huge push in the US media to further divide the population.

I've been over here in Bulgaria for a little while now and it's amazing to be away from all the American nonsense.

Also interesting to witness just how stupid America looks from the outside. World is still normal over here, every day life continuing as it always has. But in the morning when I sip my coffee I skim ATS and other media outlets and it amuses, and embarrasses, to witness just how utterly foolish America looks and the crap they're caught up in.

You'll find the same all over Eastern Europe. I spent a few months in Bulgaria, were men are men and women are women and with no desire to change that. One thing they hate is communism since that is still fresh in their memory and they have no desire to go back to that either. You should visit Buzludzha if you already haven't check that out.

In general though it's pleasant to be around people who aren't always looking for things to cry about. There is no fake outrage here. There is no being butthurt over words. There is no looking for racism around every corner. There is no constant moaning about sexism under every rock.

In fact, people here are happier.

The best city in Bulgaria I found was Plovdiv, with the best "place" being Veliko Tarnovo. It's interesting you found them to be happier, since they are poorer and arguably have more things to REALLY complain about. The problem they have though is that their population is decreasing rapidly thanks to them joining the EU in 2007, which enabled their citizens to go to Western Europe for work. But what I can see is the same thing happening in Poland.


Poland joined the EU in 2004 and millions went over to the UK and other places like Germany and France. But since returning home to buy houses and create their own businesses, it's changed the political discourse in Poland which have now become more Nationalist. They simply do not want to go the same route as Western Europe.

The EU always thought that opening up the borders for Eastern Europeans to go to Western Europe would create the opposite effect.

White people exist, get over it. We are not even in the majority here on earth. When a continent like Africa is blaming a handful of people for their inabilities or cities with a majority of blacks end up like warzones, how can you blame a minority?
There comes a point at which personal responisibility has to kick in.
Victim mentality is ripe in the black communities.

Nobody is stopping them to keep a clean home, not engage in crime, stay married, not sow their seeds with several women etc, etc. They could have really good lives if they just wanted to. Instead it's eternal victim mode and no effort.

Chinese people are poor, yet they manage to run whole areas in towns where it is a pleasure to go to.

The reason whitey is nowadays a valid target is because we have some misplaced guilt and no backbone. Black people are allowed to be racist and nasty towards us because we let them. What they completely fail to see are the good white people have done.

The western world has the strictest anti-racism laws, equality laws, opportunities and charity for the poor than any other country in the world. White people, whilst meddling with slavery [like almost all nations at the time] decided it wasn't right and abolished it! SORRY FOR THAT!

The same can't be said for arabic countries, but they also don't hand out free money, so nobody is interested in calling them out.
We are such mugs.

Why should black people rule in predominantly white countries? After all in Africa they demand black rulers and rightly so.
Why do white people have to mix with black people by force? Nobody is forcing diversity on Africa.
And what is wrong with white people wanting to live together?
We have our own culture and it makes us feel at home and safe. In Greek that is called OIKOS. Humans need it and blacks demand it all the time, yet us whites are not allowed because of some made up reason.

I had enough of that. Everyone is their own master of life. Stop blaming others and get your asses into gear and make your life good. My sympathy is waning every time I'm being called a racist for no reason. But soon I will not only accept that title but believe in it too, thanks to actual, black racism against whites. Thanks for that.

You think that was specifically Big TObacco that called the cops on garner? That was a local government ordinance that made selling single cigarettes illegal. It's not like Garner hadn't already bought those cigarettes from ... wait for it ... Big Tobacco.

The problems started in that situation have to do with New York and its uniquely high tobacco sin tax. The politicians there decided to save the people from themselves by passing punitively high taxes on cigarettes in order to deter people from smoking. This, in turn, has created a thriving black market in cigarettes bought in places where the tax is lower and cigarettes are cheaper.

Eric Garner was turned in by the local shop keepers who were trying to sell cigarettes by the pack with the local tax. Garner was undercutting their business by selling singles of black market cigarettes in way they could not legally compete with. THEY called the cops, not Big Tobacco who in all cases got their cut somewhere along the line.

The ones getting left out in this equation where local government who were getting cut out by Garner's activities.

It's a myth, plain and simple. Black people make up only 13% of the population, but contain around 40% of the countries millionaires.

The country is not racist against blacks and if anything the above metric proves it's racist against whites.

Does it not puzzle you that blacks are only 13% of the population but 40% of the wealthy? There are so many black elected politicians in a country that's made up of 74% white people, we even had a black president.

More like black privilege and black America when you look at the statistics. We've been bending over and giving them everything, they got reparations in the form of social engineering with laws like equal opportunity and affirmative action.

My friend got denied government assistance when he lost his job, and he was flat out told that if he was black he would have been approved.

All that said, I don't have a problem with black people, but I do have a problem with black people that cry "racist" everytime someone is picked over them, outperforms them, or even has a better resume.

Ignorance is boss, not bliss. Cry loud enough in a collective big enough and you'll get more than enough, despite being ignorant to the fact that it's actually more than fair.

But yeah, despite all of that, we should cry outrage because a black robber gets a longer sentence than a white one, despite the black robber have 12 priors when the white one you compare him to has none. Compare the black guy with 12 priors to a white guy with 12 priors and show me the sentencing is not the same.

The black people that are worth billions aren't empowering poor blacks. They aren't buying them houses, or paying for their attorneys, or employing them...

Ever wonder why? It's because the wealthy have educations and they know racism in America is mostly a myth when it comes to success.

For every "I didn't get the job because I'm black" there is a person of every color who didn't get the job because the employer didn't like him. Probably not because of skin color, more likely, they didn't like the personality or their resume, or their criminal record. White people contrary to belief, have the same result if the employer doesn't find them suitable.

Morgan Freeman said it best when asked why there was no black Oscar winners last year, he said "does there have to be? There are a lot of actors both black and white, is it impossible that no black actor actually deserved one this year? Should we pick a black actor that doesn't deserve it over a white actor that does deserve it just to placate the black community?"
