I saw another thread about possible wrongful accusations against another Human Being on a recent thread where some guys friend is killed by one or more Peace Officers and it made me remember this from 2013.

"No More Hesitation" series for shooting practice are enlarged photographs of a pregnant woman, children holding hands and a high-school aged girl.

This isn't normal Peace Officer behavior by any standard of living unless you're visiting China or NK maybe. I wonder who set this program up, and it was under Obama's watch for the record. Not every Cop is bad, but every cop is taught that they have so much power, they're untouchable. Scaring US Citizens half to death shouldn't be part of the Job Description. Remember that it's the Citizens that give them a pay check every month. There are good Cops, a lot i'm sure, but the bad ones are making the good ones look bad. And that ticks me off to no end.

Is Your Local Police Department Using Pictures of Pregnant Women and Children for Target Practice?

Cops conducting target practice on images of children and pregnant women

In case you still believe the government isn't out to get us, or that they don't have plans for civilian disarmament, or that their large scale purchases of ammo have nothing to do with a governmental takeover.
www.rt.com...

I really hope the President we currently have changes this, it's like they're doing some sort of MKUltra magic on our Peace Officers like they did with our vietnam vets and other military guys we may or may not know about and I know some we've had convo's about this stuff.

Did it ever occur to you that these types of things were determined to be necessary because the humanity of most police officers can sometimes jeopardize their own life while on duty?

A real gun is a real gun is a real gun, no matter who is wielding it and pointing it at you. Those targets aren't just kids and pregnant women going about their normal lives, they are people pointing a gun at the officer.

Sometimes in life, one must overcome hesitations in order to save their own life--officers are no different, and you can't overcome those hesitations without training. I mean, so you think that the only types of people who ever raise guns to LEOs with intent to kill are men or just random human silhouettes?

Let me guess, you also think that police are brainwashed to shoot black people because target silhouettes are usually black shapes?

As for the thread that you're discussing, you have no pertinent details and facts because none have been released, so to presume that you understand what went down in that incident is to be the antithesis of denying ignorance.

Also, enough with the comparisons to North Korea--I'm willing to bet that you've never even been there, let alone lived there to understand what the police state is really like. The OP of the thread that you're referencing was citing similarities to North Korea, and it's utterly asinine to use that instance (or any anecdotal or cherry-picked instances that are statistically rare occurrences in the U.S.) to pretend like the U.S. is like North Korea with its law enforcement.

As long as you are not black you are safe:

There are huge racial disparities in how US police use force

It sucks to be a black guy in this country. Make sure you put both hands on the dashboard during any traffic stop!!!!

Yeah and I understand that, I also get that this Country is slowly becoming a NWO State. I have nothing against Peace Officers, only bad ones. Just like Citizens there are good apples and bad ones. But i'm not the only one that finds this company's practices disturbing. I'm not gonna say any more about it. No one wants to think about and that's fine with me. Who cares right?

Since they pulled the product line in 2013, why are you getting all worked up over it now?

Do you seriously not bother to understand what you are reading when you post a BS liberal slant like that?

Black people in the United States are more likely to be victims of violent confrontations with police officers than whites because they commit more violent crimes than whites per capita.

– FACT: Despite making up just 13% of the population, blacks commit around half of homicides in the United States. DOJ statistics show that between 1980 and 2008, blacks committed 52% of homicides, compared to 45% of homicides committed by whites.

More up to date FBI statistics tell a similar story. In 2013, black criminals carried out 38% of murders, compared to 31.1% for whites, again despite the fact that there are five times more white people in the U.S.

– FACT: From 2011 to 2013, 38.5 per cent of people arrested for murder, manslaughter, rape, robbery, and aggravated assault were black. This figure is three times higher than the 13% black population figure. When you account for the fact that black males aged 15-34, who account for around 3% of the population, are responsible for the vast majority of these crimes, the figures are even more staggering.

– FACT: Despite the fact that black people commit an equal or greater number of violent crimes than whites, whites are almost TWICE as likely to be killed by police officers.

According to data from the Centers for Disease Control, between 1999 and 2011, 2,151 whites died as a result of being shot by police compared to 1,130 blacks.

Read what my initial post said. I said the other guys thread listed by Satan 'reminded' me of this from back in 2013. Why did they get 5.5 million in Contracts from the state department?

Considering that the company has landed $5.5 million worth of contracts with the federal government, it might also be interesting to know if these targets are being used by federal law enforcement agents.

The Question i'm posing is Who allowed this to begin with, and if it was such a great program why did they dismantle it? Did they get the keep the 5.5 million? What dildo thought of this one?

The first problem is you used RT as a source, and that is notoriously non American and bogus.

Second of all this 'pregnant woman targets' is par for the course in most training exercises as it helps soldiers identify friend from foe so innocents won't be accidentally shot when shots are fired in a hostile situation.

I hope that helps.

From your opinion. Guess what, not everyone agrees with Your Opinion. Funny how free will works like that isn't it?

I hope that helps.

Actually, when analyzed from a psychological perspective, that could very well explain the reason officers tend to rough up black people more often, even when complying and completely innocent. The subconscious is a powerful thing that influences our conscious actions everyday. It may be inadvertent, but possible. Perhaps we should use rainbow silhouettes from now on and see what effect that has over the next decade?

I have yet to see a completely made up story or non factual reporting on RT. Could you provide an example, or are you just repeating the governments stance?? In fact, everytime I have asked for someone to cite an example of these "bogus false stories" they fail 100% of the time. Your either going to ignore my request, or say something obtuse and then move on no doubt.

Apathy is not the problem.

Misdiagnosed issues and hyperbole (in general) are the major issues in this country.

Yes, there are some bad officers out there, and just like when you buy a pre-packaged bag of oranges, you may get a bad one, but pretending like there is a massive epidemic of bad oranges because of that is ridiculous.

You can find the company's practices disturbing (from four years ago...that have ceased), but when you say that this is indicative of a mass problem of LEOs wanting to disarm Americans and create a totalitarian state, you lose credibility at an alarming rate.

No. There is an undue amount of corruption higher up forcing these things and these decisions they're making for you me and every Officer out there. Should we ignore it because it's 3 years old? That's like ignoring the past because, it's the past. You learn from the past, well, apparently not you, and, talking about it redefines how we view the constructs and bad decisions our rulers have placed us under.

Nothing is black and white. If you want to ignore the past because YOU don't find it important then fine. Ignore it all if you want. Ignore everything if it makes you feel better. I prefer to learn from mistakes and events that effect me and every single citizen in this Country, and other Countries as well because, to me, it's important to know who's running things, why and how much of my tax money is going into their pockets based on choices I deeply disagree with.

Right.

And you also said you find this company's practices disturbing and it bothers you that nobody wants to think about it. Which is what my comment was in regards to.

Who allowed this to begin with

Whoever owns the company, I would imagine.

if it was such a great program why did they dismantle it?

It wasn't a program, it was a line of targets. And they stopped selling them because people were upset about them. Did you bother to read your own source material?

Did they get the keep the 5.5 million?

Why wouldn't they? What possible reason could the government have to require them to return money that they earned in 2008 because of a target line they ran in 2013?

this one.

Not really an answer from you, but more of a well ah they pulled it in 2013 so what, dont work yourself up over it, it's the past doh.

5.5 mill for a dismantled program no one wanted to begin with. I think the fact that they shut it down early, should entitl tax payers something dont you? I mean, it's their money.

Yes, because it's silly to get worked up over something, at least in this instance, that was done and dusted nearly five years ago.

5.5 mill for a dismantled program no one wanted to begin with. I think the fact that they shut it down early, should entitl tax payers something dont you? I mean, it's their money.

I see you have absolutely zero concept on how government contracts work. They were not awarded a $5.5 million dollar contract for paper targets. In no year for the last decade have they been awarded more than a million dollars in one single year. In not one single year have they been awarded 5.5 million dollars for one contract.

Do some research.

If you think pointing out your total lack of comprehension of a subject that you chose to post on, or your lack of ability to understand what I'm responding to even after I quote it, is either a) a personal insult or b) evidence of me getting worked up, I dunno what to tell you.

You're a funny guy.

Thanks.
